We profile racists and bigots. As we shouldI was reading the following article today:
Tulsi Gabbard: Domestic-Terrorism Bill Is ‘a Targeting of Almost Half of the Country’
Tulsi Gabbard, the former Democratic representative from Hawaii, on Friday expressed concern that a proposed measure to combat domestic terrorism could be used to undermine civil liberties. Gabbard’s comments came during an appearance on Fox News Primetime when host Brian Kilmeade asked her if...www.yahoo.com
part of which Tulsi Gabbard said, " When you have people like former CIA Director John Brennan openly talking about how he’s spoken with or heard from appointees and nominees in the Biden administration who are already starting to look across our country for these types of movements similar to the insurgencies they’ve seen overseas, that in his words, he says make up this unholy alliance of religious extremists, racists, bigots, he lists a few others and at the end, even libertarians.”
So, it made me wonder, do People Have The Right To Be Racists And Bigots without being profiled by intelligence? Or, do we indiscriminately profile everyone who we deem to be racists or bigots and have an FBI file on all of them?
The most grave danger to any nation is when the people think for themselves. No nation can long survive free thought, free speech and free enjoyment of the fruits of one's labor. It is therefore incumbent upon government to stifle all things which are enjoyed by the individual so that the collective can be truly free.I was reading the following article today:

Their is no way to objectify racism and bigotry, so it becomes subjective. Whitesare the least bigoted, least racist of all of the tribes in the USA.I was reading the following article today:

As long as they don’t infringe on the rights of others I don’t care what they think or say.I was reading the following article today:

I have to address the disconnect between the title and content of your poll, and the meaning behind the link in your post.I was reading the following article today:

If you are acting in a way that DIRECTLY or RECKLESSLY endangers others then you should be subject to consequences for that action. If someone merely feels threatened then it would be incumbent upon them to show, REASONABLY, that their concern is due to direct or reckless actions of another. Failing to wear a mask in public is neither reckless nor directly dangerous to anyone else UNLESS that person has reason to believe that they are a carrier of some dangerous communicable disease. For example, if neither you nor I have COVID then we are not a danger to one another even if we are in close proximity and not wearing masks. The real question should be: are individuals be free to hurt others, like not wear masks during a pandemic or treat their fellow citizens like subhuman creatures because they don't like their skin tone?
Whites are the least bigoted, least racist of all of the tribes in the USA.
That’s a good question but I fail to see how it’s connected to the subject of the thread. The real question should be: are individuals be free to hurt others, like not wear masks during a pandemic or treat their fellow citizens like subhuman creatures because they don't like their skin tone?

In the U.S. people have the right to be these things but we shouldn't be. This authoritarian power grab by the left is some scary shit.
The Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2021 was introduced in the House earlier this week in the aftermath of rioting at the U.S. Capitol earlier this month that left five dead.
I doubt it will become law.
How is it a power grab?

Being a bigot or racist is ideology. Acting on that ideology is where the line should be drawn. What you think or say about someone can cause emotional harm but is the solution for that is to make it a crime to express your thoughts via words in order not to hurt someone’s feelings?Because being a racist and bigot hurts others. So the question of the thread really becomes: should people be free to hurt others?

You don't think the government monitoring larges swaths of people and putting them on lists isn't part of a power grab? Not a student of history, I take it.
McCarthyism II surrounds us now by the authoritarian John Brennan types.
For all the left's chatter that Trump was an authoritarian when it comes to the preservation of civil liberties, Brennan makes Trump look like a choir boy.
