Rep Lauren Boebert voted against a bill to support US veterans sick and dying from toxic exposure to burn pits - just days after she heckled President Joe Biden as he spoke about the topic in his State of the Union address.

The Republican congresswoman cast her vote on Thursday morning against passing the Honoring Our PACT Act, saying no to providing around 3.5 million veterans with access to healthcare and disability benefits after they served their country overseas.

This comes less than 48 hours after she sparked outrage among veterans, advocates and Democrat lawmakers for heckling President Joe Biden as he spoke about veterans suffering from exposure to burn pits in the SOTU on Tuesday night.

Wow. What a piece of shit.

What else was in the bill that she was saying "no" to.
Nothing that 34 Republicans couldn't live with.
It's gonna cost though, so maybe she objected for that reason.

What was with Nancy getting all giddy and excited when Joe was talking about burn pits causing cancer, and about the death of his son?

Ooh come on, everybody now should know that Lauren Boebert is a troll. Sadly she is not on the internet only but has taken her trolling behavior into the capital.

No. She spoke too
No she didn't. At least not verbally. She was doing a lot of weird smiling and looked like she was going to jump up and down in excitement. Very odd.

That's cool..has nothing to do with the subject but hey you do you

Lauren Boebert is a despicable human being at her very core. She's just a raving lunatic piece of shit. Don't expect her to vote for anything her party does not propose. The only up side is that she's what the GOP is becoming. Idiocracy is becoming reality.

If we're going to call out one member of congress for being "disrespectful" we should call out all of them. Pelosi's giddy and gleeful response to burn pits was incredibly odd behavior.

Read it for yourself:

https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/house-bill/3967/text

H. R. 3967 - An Act improve health care and benefits for veterans exposed to toxic substances, and for other purposes.

Title I - Expansion of Healthcare Eligibility
Title II - Toxic Exposure Presumption Process
Title III - Improving the Establishment of Service Connection Process for Toxic-Exposed Veterans
Title IV - Presumptions of Service Connection
Title V - Research Matters
Title VI - Improvement of Resources & Training Regarding Toxic-Exposed Veterans
Title VII - Registries, Records, and Other Matters

It passed 256-174, with 34 Republicans voting "Yea". How would you have voted?

No she didn't. At least not verbally. She was doing a lot of weird smiling and looked like she was going to jump up and down in excitement. Very odd.
Wrong

But the moment that stood out most was when Boebert shouted "13 of them" — referring to the 13 U.S. service members who died in an attack in Afghanistan during the U.S. withdrawal last year — when Biden discussed battlefield conditions that may contribute to veterans' developing cancers "that would put them in a flag-draped coffin."

She knows the personal connection that President Biden has with this bill and how much it means to him.

Bobert shouted at the president during the speech

...for not mentioning the 13 service members killed in his botched pullout.

WTF is this????

You said she didnt speak

She shouted at the president during his speech

She knows the personal connection that President Biden has with this bill and how much it means to him.
Which makes it all the more odd that she would stand up and smile and rub her hands together in glee. I don't get it.

She knew what he was about to say and was preparing to clap

She was getting ready to clap at what he was calling for

More help for veterans
