No racism, just crime statistics / facts that you do not want to address.
Murder is murder and it is especially absurd to argue that there is a "social situation" that either compels or excuses (I'm not sure which angle you are coming from) that says, "I'm Black so I'm allowed to kill Black people because of 400 years of oppression of Black people".
Here, let's widen the sample to males aged 15 to 29 . . .
We will work from three screen grabs for 2019, again from the CDC (click on thumbnails).
First, the nation as a whole showing the total gun murders and total population:

Now gun murders for Black Males aged 15 -29 and White Males aged 15 - 29:

Let's pull those numbers apart . . .
Black Males aged 15 -29 are 1.68% of the total US population but experience 29.37% of the nation's gun murders.
White Males aged 15 - 29 are 5.65% of the total US population and experience 4.93% of the nation's gun murders.
To really put this incredible disparity of "senseless gun violence" into perspective, consider this unavoidable truth -- if Black males aged 15-29 were murdered at the same rate as non-Hispanic White males aged 15-29, there would have been 212 instead of 4,234 young Black men being murdered in 2019, a
95% reduction. (55.41074 X 3.83 = 212.223)
So what societal remedy would you suggest, if I was really a racist, I might suggest we could just tell young Black men to act more White.
