[W:171] AOC and ‘Squad’ Defund Israel’s Iron Dome Defence System from Democrats’ $1Bn Spending Bill

Those were Socialists wandering aimlessly around the capitol building that night? How do you know that?
National Socialists, Carl. As in Nazis.

Yup if not for the darn Iron Dome we would have had many more dead Jews. Maybe next time.

Sounds like it would be a priority to them to go ahead and buy it, for themselves, instead of latching onto the US taxpayer teet. IMO.

Jesus! You can't read an acronym correctly. It means "keep it simple stupid". Which evidently it appears that there doesn't exist a sufficient blend of either for you to be able to get it
I see comprehension is not among your best assets.

I am proving very clearly that it is not liberals whose "motivation is pure hatred of Jews, nothing else."

Those were Trump supporters. Trump said some of them were "very fine people".
Do you know who he was referring to in that quote?

You really think that Hamas can fully replicate the kind of missile attack that a much more well self supported and technologically sophisticated state would be capable of carrying out?
I think we face a variety of enemies and risks.

I see comprehension is not among your best assets.
Certainly not even remotely a stronghold of yours. Which you have embarrassingly demonstrated for us a countless number of times.

True. But that doesn't answer the question.
Apologies - I will be more clear: The premise of your question (that we only need to worry about things like advanced missiles from near-peer competitors) is wrong. In fact we need to worry about both.

I wouldn't wear a MAGA hat either. MAGA is a dog whistle to disgruntled white men who want to return to the 1950s, when women weren't in the boardroom and black people were white people's servants.
Have any "disgruntled white men" told you that or have you been reading left wing horseshit? Or is that what 'greatness' means to you?

Trump was the most anti-American president in memory. He courted white supremacists, bigots and had no appreciation of democracy. He attempted to overturn an election, that he lost, that even his hand-picked Attorney General said was the most fair in history. That's anti-American.
You should stay clear of those sites. They're messing with your mind. Or, as an alternative, you could offer up some credible evidence to support your opinion.

The Israelis are nuclear capable and can survive alright without my money. I am more interested in the real struggle for survival among the homeless in the US.
Then you can do volunteer work and donate some money..

Sounds like it would be a priority to them to go ahead and buy it, for themselves, instead of latching onto the US taxpayer teet. IMO.

You feel the same way about NATO, Japan and South Korea or just the Jewish state?

Apologies - I will be more clear: The premise of your question (that we only need to worry about things like advanced missiles from near-peer competitors) is wrong. In fact we need to worry about both.
Yeah, we do need to be worried about both. As Iran had demonstrated with it's retaliatory ballistic missile strike on a US airbase, and it's drone attack on Saudi oil installations. Hamas's missile attacks in terms of sophistication are rudimentary at best, and hardly represent a full test of Iron Dome's capabilities outside of the context of quasi-state terrorists attacks.

The people at the Unite the right rally.
He was referring to the many people who were there.

Trump: "Excuse me, excuse me. They didn’t put themselves -- and you had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides. You had people in that group. Excuse me, excuse me. I saw the same pictures as you did. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name."

Reporter: "George Washington and Robert E. Lee are not the same."

Trump: "George Washington was a slave owner. Was George Washington a slave owner? So will George Washington now lose his status? Are we going to take down -- excuse me, are we going to take down statues to George Washington? How about Thomas Jefferson? What do you think of Thomas Jefferson? You like him?"

Reporter: "I do love Thomas Jefferson."

Trump: "Okay, good. Are we going to take down the statue? Because he was a major slave owner. Now, are we going to take down his statue?

"So you know what, it’s fine. You’re changing history. You’re changing culture. And you had people -- and I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists -- because they should be condemned totally. But you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists. Okay? And the press has treated them absolutely unfairly.

"Now, in the other group also, you had some fine people. But you also had troublemakers, and you see them come with the black outfits and with the helmets, and with the baseball bats. You had a lot of bad people in the other group."

Reporter: "Sir, I just didn’t understand what you were saying. You were saying the press has treated white nationalists unfairly? I just don’t understand what you were saying."

Trump: "No, no. There were people in that rally -- and I looked the night before -- if you look, there were people protesting very quietly the taking down of the statue of Robert E. Lee. I’m sure in that group there were some bad ones. The following day it looked like they had some rough, bad people -- neo-Nazis, white nationalists, whatever you want to call them.

"But you had a lot of people in that group that were there to innocently protest, and very legally protest -- because, I don’t know if you know, they had a permit. The other group didn’t have a permit. So I only tell you this: There are two sides to a story. I thought what took place was a horrible moment for our country -- a horrible moment. But there are two sides to the country.

Yeah, we do need to be worried about both as Iran had demonstrated with it's retaliatory ballistic missile strike on a US airbase, and it's drone attack on Saudi oil installations. Hamas's missile attacks in terms of sophistication are rudimentary at best, and hardly represent a full test of Iron Dome's capabilities outside of the context of quasi-state terrorists attacks.
And you're quite confident that those missiles will remain rudimentary. So confident, in fact, that you're willing to bet Israeli lives on it.

AOC, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib struck down the funding for Israel's defensive Iron Dome system -- and for what? Because it's a defensive system that saves lives from incoming missiles that would otherwise take lives.

(So back to the main topic)
Because it's just so much better when terrorists can launch missiles that can actually reach innocent civilians and kill them without being stopped?

Does anyone think that this crosses some sort of anti-Semitic line here? Enabling the killing of innocent people?

And you're quite confident that those missiles will remain rudimentary. So confident, in fact, that you're willing to bet Israeli lives on it.
It would appear that it would be the Israelis that would be betting on it. I don't have any say in it.

They were also against helping Israel to defend themselves? Do you have a link to that?
That was in reference to the unite the right rally in North Carolina, Carl. Do try a little harder to keep up please.

AOC didn't vote against this today, btw.
Actually, she did.

She voted no...and then changed her vote to present.

And then she sobbed on someone's shoulder when she realized she had been played.

Gee whizz. Boo Hoo.

Fix you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

Exactly what I said he said.

When he said that he was referring to the people at the unite the right rally.

"But you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists. Okay? And the press has treated them absolutely unfairly."

"

The thing is he is wrong.

There were no good people in that group.

THINK ABOUT IT.

The rally was organized by a nazi named Jason Kessler, he got the permits, booked the speakers, advertised etc.

Good people don't go to participate in rallies organized by Nazis.

Let's say there were some good people that were simply ignorant of the fact that it was organized by nazis.

They show up, they see all the nazi flags and Klan signs and what do they do?

If they are really good people they leave immediately or join the group opposing the nazis.

If they stayed and marched with the nazis then they ARE NOT GOOD PEOPLE.

so Trump was wrong.

There were not very fine people in that group.

Actually, she did.

She voted no...and then changed her vote to present.

No sir, that doesn't change the fact that she didn't vote against it. That specifically requires a "no" vote.
