I have to vote mostly because my grandfather told me it was one of the responsibilities of a citizen. But, in the fifty-four years I've been voting I've never wanted to forget about it as much as I do now. Don't get me wrong. I wasn't happy with the choice of McCain or Obama and I wasn't happy with Romney or Obama. I wasn't happy with Bush or Gore and I wasn't happy with Bush or Kerry. But I could vote.

But in those elections one was bad and the other was horrible. Now we have two horrible candidates. One is a lifelong liberal, a liar, a crook, a bully, and a totally selfish, self-centered person. The other is a lifelong liberal, an even better liar, a deadbeat, a huckster, a bully, and a narcissistic bully. On an ethical scale they both come in below used-car salesmen, television evangelists, lawyers, and pimps.

I'm torn between Gov. Gary Johnson and Gov. Weld representing the Libertarian Party and Rod and Richard Silva representing the Nutrition Party. I'll vote today and mourn for America.

Make some good, solid down ballot choices. The election at the top is a disaster but I'm ignoring those two losers and trying to keep some semblance of sanity and reality in the country.

I have no hope for sanity in this election but I want either of the scum at the top to take office with the least support of any president ever. I'm hoping our Congress of Eunuchs will grow a pair and take the power that belongs to Congress back from the Imperial Presidency.

Oh, but haven't you heard? We have a strong Congress that stops the Imperial President at every turn. Just ask tres borrachos. ;)

Sorry, but it's Democrats/socialists/leftists/communists who suffer from the delusion of a powerful Republican body that prevents the rightful King from having absolute power as his heroes, Castro, Chavez, Stalin, Mao, had.

You probably should only voter for local/state candidates. The federal government is not representative.

Nope, tres borrachos was schooling me just the other day about the Party of No, and all of the ways they have thwarted Obama.

Oh bull****, countryboy. Obama wanted single payer - he didn't get it. He wanted to close Gitmo - they wouldn't let him. He wanted to ban guns (something Donald Trump agreed with as recently as 2012), and they wouldn't let him. Hell, they wouldn't even hold hearings on his Supreme Court nominee. I can go on and on. The reason why they are called the Party of No is because they spent the last 6 years saying NO to the man. They did everything they could to stop him. They aren't the reason we have Trump. The reason we have Trump is all of the bigoted, ugly, paranoid Muslim haters coming out of the woodwork and supporting an idiot who had no business being the nominee.

A vote for anyone other than DJT is handing the nation over to the corrupt globalists. DJT is not prefect, and yes, he's far from the ideal candidate, but by God he is a damn sight better than the alternative and he does love his country and desires it to succeed and prosper.

Think before you pull the lever.

I am sick and tired of the "he's better than the alternative" argument. Donald J. Trump is a liar. He's scum. He's a lifelong liberal. He will fight illegal immigration but he hires illegal immigrants. He will fight sending manufacturing off-shore but he has his products made in China.

He is a man who is so sick he will say there is no such thing as too greedy.

He's a patriotic, brave, military supporting draft dodger.

And he wears a merkin. A merkin is a toupee for a *****.

A vote for Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton is a vote for the destruction of America.

Name one thing either one has done that is something you're proud of. Would it be Donald running casinos where they got people drunk on free cocktails and took them for everything they have? Would it be Donald Trump's managed bankruptcies where he made money and his creditors lost money? Would it be his Trump Universty? Would it be for what he's done for Atlantic City?

Or, Sen. Clinton. What has she done that makes you proud. Is it her defense of women and children that allows her to lie and get a child rapist off by blaming the victim? Is it being the onl7y woman who let Bill Clinton screw her and get a ride to the White House? Is it the wonderful, creative way she handles emails and FOIA laws?

Voting for either Trump or Clinton is a vote for the death of America.

There's no need to become angry and bitter. I was reaching out to you as a fellow American. I see you aren't approachable in that regard. Vote for whomever you wish.

Sorry, but you wrote, "A vote for anyone other than DJT is handing the nation over to the corrupt globalists." That strikes you from any list of Americans. What kind of twit would consider Gov. Johnson a corrupt globalist? Vote for whomever you wish. That's what the Constitutions the liberals hate guarantees.

When America is choosing between one of two lying, crooked, liberal bastards for president there is certainly sufficient reason to be bitter and angry. The fact that you actually want to vote for one of the lying, crooked, liberals doesn't lessen the anger and bitterness.

I'm aware of that. And neither will have my vote. What is one thing either one has done of which you are personally proud? One thing. I can pick liberals who I really don't like and say something good about them. President Truman desegregated the military and ended the War in the Pacific in WWII. President Nixon did bring American troops home from Vietnam. President Carter was polite. There is nothing I can point to with Donald Trump or Senator Clinton as praiseworthy. The are both excellent at being corrupt and crooked.

Every time I read, or hear, the phase, “the lesser of two evils,” it brings a smile to my face because every flippin’ election is like that. This one is no different.

As Americans we are going to choose which direction we go in this November. Are we going to choose the Globalist path, or the American path? Are we going to hand over our country to corrupt oligarchs or retain our sovereignty? At least with DJT we will be in better position in the long run. With Globalist Granny, we can expect a further erosion of our culture and corruption will be deeply ingrained in govt the likes that would rival anything we have seen in our history.

Choose wisely.

I actually like the fact that Trump is not PC or a career politician. There's two things for ya. ;)

I supported Cruz in the primaries. You?

Gov. Walker. I usually prefer governors because they've done something you can look at as a track record. Senators? Nah! Sen. Kerry said it all when he said, "I was for the War in Irag before I was against it," or maybe the other way around.

Had Sen. Cruz been nominated I might have been able to vote for him. I really don't know. I'm not overly fond of fundamentalist religious folks but it's not necessarily a reason to not vote for someone for me.

But, vote for the self-described King of Debt. I think not. That's one of our bigger problems right now. Donald Trump is like any other Democrat politician who gets richer by spending other people's money.

I've never understood the "cut off your nose to spite your face" position.

But you can't convince these never Trump/defacto Hillary supporters.

Let’s be honest here. I never said Johnson was a globalist. I was referring to his chances of being elected, which are nil. So, a vote for anyone other than DJT would guarantee Global Granny as our next president.

Yeah, and thanks for attacking my patriotism and calling me a twit. I expect more from my fellow conservatives, but it is apparent you are closed to any meaningful dialogue on this subject. I won’t bother you about voting any further.

In a business sense, DJ Trump does whatever he needs to (underhandedly perhaps, but legally as far as I can tell) to move forward his agenda. if his agenda is making money, then he will do what he has to to come out on top... if his agenda is promoting the policies he has campaigned on... well then the only question is whether that is truly his agenda or not.

I believe it is. If I thought Johnson could win, I would vote for him. since I don't think he can, then I will give Trump a chance, because I am not fond of how america might look with Clinton in office... he cannot do worse than she can, imho.

I've never understood the "cut off your nose to spite your face" position.

I never understood supporting scum. "Cutting off your nose to spite your face" means doing something incredibly stupid because you're mad about something else. That really doesn't apply, Countryboy. I am not voting for whomever because I'm mad at Clinton or Trump. I'm voting for whomever because I won't vote for a lying, crooked, liberal scum and if I refuse to vote for a lying, crooked, liberal scum, what choice do I have?

Lol, this is exactly the kind of thinking that got us DJT. Walker never had a chance. You pass over a Constitutional conservative because you think he's a "fundamentalist religious folk". Enjoy your Hillary. Would you like a side of tyranny with that?

You have two choices bad, or worse. I choose bad.

I respect your decision, even if I don't like it.

Ego has a lot to do with it. I’M RIGHT DAMMIT, kind of attitude. We’re talking about the future of our country. Me, personally, I know I will be dead in 30 years or so, it’s what kind of country does my kids and grandkids inherit. I’m basing my decision on what’s best for my country, corrupt globalism or sovereignty? Our culture or open borders? For me, the decision is easy.

I totally agree on your description of Trump and Clinton. No sane person could ever vote for them unless it is out of habit of just voting for the R or the D no matter what. They have their avid followers, quite a lot of them. But it is pretty much all emotional, half of those stating they are voting for Trump or Clinton are not for Trump or Clinton, they are against the other guy or gal. Not for whom they are voting.

America has been conditioned that one must vote for one of the two major party candidates. Even if it means choosing one's own poison to drink. They just jump in line and follow, no questions asked, no thought, no worry and vote or drink the poison.

There is no way I could ever support either one of the two major party nominees. Both are so horrible, when one votes for horrible, horrible wins regardless of which one it is. I am with you.

I was going for Cruz but he dropped out prior to my state's primary. So I went for DJT. I also like that fact he isn't a politician. And the fact he will give us somewhat of a fighting chance against the corrupt left-wing and globalists. No other candidate can come close to doing that.
