Yes, during the 3 strikes era, where she sent people away for life because of relatively minor crimes. She's a life-long drug warrior and put thousands in prison for marijuana "crimes", while claiming that she used to use the drug herself. She contributed to the mass incarceration of minorities, she fought to keep men in prison when she knew they were innocent, and she fought to keep inmates incarcerated explicitly for the free prison labor. She also had parents arrested for the "crime" of truancy, and laughed about it.
