why do people still bother with metro Labour, weak Liberals, and out of date Tories, not to mention the absurd Greens
no, if you want your country back then vote UKIP , the only party that will properly attempt to get us out of the EU sham and end mass uncotrolled immigration of unskilled and unwanted foreigners - ok??
The problem with this ever pervading (in the UK) sentiment is that, where many in Europe feel a similar need for criticism, virtually nobody (not in the political leadership(s) nor in the individual populaces) in Europe feels that the Brits have any business in interfering.Though, I like what UKIP has achieved and think Farage is really a very good politician, I do not think that the UK should get out of the EU. That would be counter productive to the country. Rather, it should force the EU to consolidate back to a legal and legitimate structure.

By virtue of its own lack of credibility on having European interest foremost in mind, Britain's status ranges from being a general annoyance to being an overall laughing stock of whining gripers that wants to take what it can get from its membership in the EU and earn as little of it as possible.
It would be most unfair to lay all and every blame for this development at Britain's doorstep exclusively, just as much as it would be highly unrealistic to absolve it of any blame.
The obstacles lie (and always have done) in "the continent" as a whole and "the island" in being so separated by the channel beyond its actual width that, where mutual comprehension is concerned, they might as well be on different planets.
Generally speaking Europeans don't understand Britain at all and Britain understands nothing about Europe, or so is the sentiment on the respective opposite side. Leading to see the actions of the other to be perceived as incomprehensible shenanigans.
To add to this conundrum there is no particular balance of weight that could force both to get off this ridiculous high horse, on the contrary Britain, by comparison, is seen as irrelevant if need be, should it ever come to exit. Many on "the continent" would even breathe a sigh of relief.
Thus, ironically, where many share into the criticisms that Britain has at heart, just as many turn automatically deaf when they hear ANYthing coming from London.
And just as many in Britain are blissfully ignorant of how little clout "the island" actually holds in abroad Europe.
To assume that Britain will ever "force" the EU into anything is thus a ridiculous pipe dream.
Sad in many aspects but something that Britain bears its share of as well.
in theory that would be good, but if they cannot then they must leave, agree?
I just find this all so ironic.
Europe and America destabilized and have refused to act in a meaningful way to fix the regions these people are fleeing... And then we all turn around and spit on these dirty ****ing migrants who should piss off back to crazydeathrapebeheading****land.
What would you suggest be done? Colonization, colonialism, paternalism? In fact the British colonies have done much better that most areas of the world and blaming the democracies for problems is easy but also pointless. These trouble spots are often supported by leftists who will march in protest for any interference against the dictatorships.I just find this all so ironic. Trust me there has been no stability whatsoever in the ME since the year 571.

That's not true, The Ottoman empire didn't do too shabby keeping the islamists in check.
So Nigel "the liar" Farrage will kick out his own wife? She is an unskilled foreigner..
I actually think Farage is one of the least nasty people in UKIP, he has foolishly allowed the UKIP message about business with the rest of the world to be taken over by some of the most vile members of his own party. UKIP actually would have immigration because as most sane people realise - a growing economy actually needs people.
What you read on newspaper feedback forums is from those professing to be UKIP but more in sympathy with the old National Front. They're not interested in the economy or growth or business or any kind of wider plans for the country - their sole focus is immigration and the "evil foreigners." Anyhow as you point out - Farage is married to an unskilled foreigner so at heart, the message is clouded and inconsistent.
What is even more funny.. Farrage is a 3rd generation immigrant himself... his family is from the Holland/Germany area of Europe if I remember right.
Difficult to look at the images of the little boys body from Kobani, a war-torn Kurdish town on the Turkey-Syria border after he had washed up on the beach (and he represents just one of faces of those fleeing) and not be affected by that.
that's right , time to make these people stay in their own countriesI don't pretend to know the answers but the situation is terrible and we are now seeing a full blown significant humanitarian crisis.
Or do you want to send them back to Syria (IS being the UK's fault far more than Germany's, after all. You joined the US in Iraq, we didn't).
I think that little fact is lost on the creator of the thread..
They should go to other countries in Africa or Middle East where there is plenty of space, and at least the same religion / culture
NO - we don't want them in the UK , who gives a **** what the Swiss choose to do, that is up to them
