Immorality is destructive. Moveable moral norms are destructive. People know sin is wrong and any society which moves to legalize sin is undermining its own stability.

Who said homosexuality was right? Not God. Not historical American laws. The changes in attitudes towards homosexuality overt he last few decades can be described as unfixed values being moved in a different direction by mob consensus moral relativism. If moral relativism is the rule for establishing what is right or wrong, then anything can be justified as long as the majority mob approves. For example, sex with minors could be considered right if a large enough mob supported it. Or murdering Jews, babies or political enemies if a large enough majority of the mob favored such things. Slavery also, under moral relativism, is neither right nor wrong. Whatever the mob says it is becomes what it is. Here is an article:
