Tickets for a seat on the spaceplane are going for $250,000 each.

Virgin Galactic’s VSS Unity soared into space Thursday and reached an altitude of more than 270,000 feet — past the 50-mile mark the U.S. government uses to define the edge of space.

The Unity's fourth test flight began Thursday morning at the Mojave Air and Space Port in California. The spaceplane was attached to its mothership, WhiteKnightTwo, before being released.

Of course there are 800 people stupid enough. Real question, will it be cash or charge?

Cash of course. In an experimental rocket ship they want to be absolutely sure that the passengers pay BEFORE the flight.

No doubt the sales pitch was "You can consider yourself a founding investor into the dream".
