Boston Red Sox fans in New England have been bum's rushing NY Yankee fans off our corners for a hundred years. In Boston itself a Yankee Fan and the Vietnam Veteran are the same kind of bum deal. So it's off you go the instant either of 'em starts showing his homemade sign at our corner to include Trump in this day and age.

You could buy a t-shirt outside of Fenway Park on a gameday that read, "Certified Yankee Hater" across the mighty pecs. Likewise when Watergate came on after MA was the only state McGovern carried in '72, bumper stickers proliferated: "Don't Blame Me, I Voted for McGovern."

For moi it carried over after my time in The Old Guard and while I was a civvy in Washington DC in '73 when I put one on my car and was stopped by Washingtonians some of whom seemed to want to carry me on their shoulders. That would be in between giving you guys the bums's rush every time too. And perhaps this election could be the WW2 B-17 bomber pilot McGovern's Revenge. As much as you guyz voted for Nixon whose "secret plan" to end the war was to prolong it until after his reelection.

Actually, I voted for McGovern. I had several spirited arguments with my dad leading up to that election.

My father, a life long, die hard, union household, Democrat voted for Nixon saying that he'd rather have a smart crook in the White house than an honest idiot.

I wonder how many people will do that same calculus in the voting booth this year...

I'm a capitalist and pretty hard core about it as well.

Socialism is government ownership of the means of transportation, communication, production. It frequently means the government operates, manages and directs each of 'em too. This is anyway not occurring in the USA nor will it ever occur. All you bleach cultists have instead are ghouls and hobgoblins that you hope will disguise your love of Russia. They don't.

Fauci is trying to get more than his 15 min of fame. He's a ****ing medical advisor, not a decision maker. He's been clearly heard for months, and the decisions have been made. And more than medical opinions come into play when we have a crisis. Did you forget there are actual cabinet members, or is this only about your blind ambition to sink the Trump presidency. I say it's the latter, and it's been the latter since 4 years ago, before you every heard of Fauci.

If by a miracle Trump gets past the massive organized mail in ballot frauds and win, I expect the Democratic Party to order black communities in cities they control to be burned down and other acts of terrorism by white progressives to punish blacks for not turning out more for Biden. This has been the first time in American history that the Democratic Party engaged in a national campaign to burn, loot and terrorize blacks trying to force them out of their cities - and I expect the Democratic Party's war on black people to go crazy violent against blacks if Trump wins.
