Video: US Troops Taunt Iraqi Children With Water (1 Viewer)

As featured in such publications as The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Dallas Morning News, The Los Angeles Times, The Austin-American Statesman, and The Austin Chronicle, Alex Jones has created a powerful platform in an attempt to re-create a Bill of Rights, freedom-orientated culture in the face of an ever more federalized and security-obsessed America.

Alex Jones broadcasts nationwide on the Genesis Communications Radio Network.

In the Summer of 2000, Alex successfully infiltrated Bohemian Grove, meeting place for the global elite in an ancient redwood forest of northern California. This was documented by World of Wonder in their Secret Rulers of the World series, shown in the UK on Channel 4 and aired nationwide in the US multiple times on the Trio Network.

Alex's documentary, Dark Secrets: Inside Bohemian Grove, features the infiltration plus the history of the Grove.

Alex is known for not just talking the talk, but walking the walk. He combines his media presence with actual physical activism, a practice that once led to him being arrested on the personal order of George W. Bush!

Alex Jones has gained international attention for standing up for what he believes in. From the Italy's La Prensa to the Wall Street Journal and USA Today, Jones has brought the information war to the mainstream print media worldwide, speaking out against tyranny in defense of the Constitution.

Jones has produced fifteen documentary films to date exposing the police state, the New World Order and government sponsored terrorism.

Way to build a democracy. I wonder if those guys ever thought that in 5 years US soldiers will still be in country and all of those kids will be old enough to carry a Kalashnikov or wire up an IED.

Isn't it amazing the lack of comment on this by the war lovers here on this forum? If it had shown troops handing out candy, there would be a steady stream. Hypocrites!
It was disgusting and clearly illustrates that we're not getting the whole story with the so-called "imbedded Press" An imbedded Press is a controlled Press. It's amazing that this video got out at all. What was most disgusting was that the laughing *** soldier was clearly the yes man's commander. Way to school em'
Neocons will probably say, "Well, he finally did drop the bottle, didn't he?"

Jesus, you guys are just like the Islamic propaganda pushers.
I guess you interviewed the kids and it was the water he was after?
Was it the mission for the patrol if that what it was to hand out water?
And last you can prove all the troops act in this manner?

War Lovers? VFP get a damn clue...

Oh and this story comes from the same person that claims "MARTIAL LAW IN NEW YORK CITY".................

No, I didn't interview the kids. I have eyes and ears though. I thought you had them, too. I was wrong.
I understand that folks do crazy **** in war. I'm sure this is a rather isolated incident. But, the fact that you blow it off though, speaks volumes.
Just like your friend, Currentaffairs, I could drop the bodies of all 200,000 to god knows how many Iraqi children who died as a result of US/UN sanctions at your doorstep, and you would deny they were children, deny they were Iraqi's and deny they were dead. This is a bloody mess with no hope for success and it is you who needs a clue. Feel free to ignore all the evidence of civil war though, why shouldn't your denial be complete?

More :bs

All I saw or heard were two soldiers acting badly. Just so you know if I were their CO I would punish them.....
But just like Islamic propaganda pushers you saw the entire campaign to exterminate the Iraqi’s didn’t you?....

Its UN sanctions, sanctions Saddam had the power to obey. He didn’t obey so his people paid the price. Why blame Saddam when you can blame the US?
No matter how much you wish it’s not a civil war yet.
Its still just foreplay.

No hope for them? So should we as in the US just take over and eliminate every Iraqi male from the age of 10 to 70 since this is a total failure? Or would it be better to turn the area into a sheet of glass?

Congrats! This just may be the most convoluted piece of neocon rant I've ever heard.
If this civil war is just foreplay for what's to come, then sure, why not send more Americans to die for nothing? Makes perfect sense.
This Insurgency (which Cheney said long ago we are in the final throes of) consists mainly of Sunnis from all over the region attempting to overthrow the Shia puppet government that Bushco has tried to install. You bet there's more to come. If you truly supported our troops you would stand up and demand their removal from this hornet's nest that the destabilizing by the Saddam removal has stirred up.
Dumbest foreign policy anyone could imagine. And, now all these genius politicians in both parties are just marking time til they can save face and blame it all on the Baker commission. Meanwhile more Americans lose their lives for a civil war that these same geniuses created. And you, in all your wisdom, support this. Mindboggling!

Here's a link to what's really going on. Including the fact that the Bushites are redefining the enemy as they continue to spew the rhetoric which demonized them to begin with. More convoluted thinking.

neocon?...... Why must you keep calling me a neocon when you know if you have read my posts that I'm not?
Is it allowed for an Independent to support our troops and their mission, which is to stabilize this hellhole?

It’s not a full-blown civil war yet slick! The foreplay I speak of is the bombings.

This Insurgency (which Cheney said long ago we are in the final throes of) consists mainly of Sunnis from all over the region attempting to overthrow the Shia puppet government that Bushco has tried to install.

Will you get a damn clue? The people of Iraq elected its government. DoI need to write this down with a crayon and staple it to your forehead?
You bet there's more to come. If you truly supported our troops you would stand up and demand their removal from this hornet's nest that the destabilizing by the Saddam removal has stirred up.
And what of the hundred of thousands of Iraqi people who would die? Do you care about them like you care about the ones Saddam killed with the sanctions?

I can agree with most of this paragraph.
I disagree with the cut and run leaving a huge mess.

You wish to stop these killings of the Iraqi people you claim to care about?
Ok fine Order your president to remove the muzzle off the Marines and take the leash off the rest of our Military. Give them clear orders “Stop the factions by whatever means” then leave them alone. And don’t start crying like you SOB’s do when some pregnant woman gets mowed down for carrying RPG’s.

I met Alex Jones briefly at some fundraiser barbeque a few years ago when his buddy Mike Hanson was running for some kind of local office... city council or county commissioner or something. Might've been four or five years ago, I can't remember.
In person, Alex seems pretty laid back, not much like his public persona.
I suspect the same could be said for many of the far-right political pundits like Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, etc; these people are successful political pundits not because they have a more valid political message than anyone else, but because they have cultivated public personas that are entertaining, even if they entertain by making people hate them.

Anyway, Alex... Alex, as a television personality, reminds me of Cartman on Southpark. He looks like Cartman, and also tends to get shrill and sound like Cartman when he's overexcited, which is most of the time.
But I think he has a lot of valid information to share, if people can just get past the bluster, the rhetoric, and the "consiracy theorist" stigma.
He's got an interesting website, Alex Jones' Infowars.com :: There is a War on for Your Mind! .

Do you allow for someone to be anti war and still support the folks who fight it? No. So, no. You can't call yourself a moderate while spewing wartalk.
What choices did the Iraqi people have as candidates? This US chosen Shia or that US chosen Shia? Coming back to bite us as Sunnis gather to overthrow the puppet gov't.

Now, stop changing the subject. We're not talking a woman with a hidden Rpg. We're talking about a young kid who just wants a bottle of clean water because a nation builder decided he should have none.
And, although you insist that Saddam imposed the sanctions that killed so many, it was the US/UN. Do I have to write it in crayon etc etc...

That’s the thing VFP you don’t. You are the one who loves to kick our troops and blame them for everything under the sun. You are the one who calls them warmongers.
Did you forget what its like being in a war?

It is a predicament shared by many of the more than 7,000 candidates representing 111 parties and coalitions on the ballot, vying for seats on a new 275-member national assembly. The slates encompass the full spectrum of ethnic, religious, and ideological politics in Iraq; secularists and Islamists, communists and monarchists, Shiites and Sunnis, Kurds, Turkmen, Christians, and others.

Violence Mars Iraqi Candidates' Ability to Reach Voters
Yep that looks like a puppet gov't...........

No I was talking about ending the violence and what people like you would cry.;)

Did I not say it was bad behavior? Did I not say I would punish them for their behavior? What? would you want them to be shot?

And, although you insist that Saddam imposed the sanctions that killed so many, it was the US/UN. Do I have to write it in crayon etc etc..

OPEN you eyes slick. He used the sanctions to punish his own people to cause outrage against the UN. I can see your hate for the US continues.
It was the UN and its body that voted for the sanctions but you keep coming to the US.
Saddam could have obeyed the sanctions voted against him for NOT complying. He chose not too..But no matter it’s our fault he did comply…

Yes, and we knew the sanctions were only hurting the innocent but did not lift them. That's the reality that you can't explain away.
You also keep separating the UN from the US. as if they were not inextricably linked. Very naive and blind attitude that gives anything else you have to say on the subject no validity at all.

And I remember all too well what war is like and carry the reminder every day. That's why I fight against it. It should NEVER be an elective decision but only a last resort. And, when and if that becomes neccessary, we separate the war from the innocent and not take out the neccessary infrastructure that sustain civilian populations.
And, never should true Americans accept lies that lead to war. The first casualty of war is truth. Rhetoric just doesn't cut it when it comes to reasons to wage war or to occupy sovereign nations. Many Americans died to battle imperialism fostered by Germany and Japan and now we have become the Imperialists. It's not acceptable when we do it either.

Then what purpose would any sanctions on any country have? Can anyone help it if he didn’t care about hurting his own people? What a bunch of nonsense.

You cant face the facts it’s the UN and its members who imposed the sanctions you always make it sound like it was the US alone. You wish to speak of validity when you dodge 90% of my questions?.

Judging by your remarks you don’t know jack about warfare. If you had then you would know that when you have to wage war you don’t go in with your hands tied.
Didn’t your so called time in Vietnam teach you anything?
And, when and if that becomes neccessary, we separate the war from the innocent and not take out the neccessary infrastructure that sustain civilian populations.

You have just shown you have never been in warfare, nor do you have any idea how to wage one. “We separate the war from the innocent’s? How in the hell do you do that slick? Infrastructure is part of the War machine you nitwit.
Tell me Mr.Vet just how you wage war?
I dare you’re a$$ to answer that one..

No slick the first causalities are innocents. They always have been and always will be.
Now you try and change the subject to occupying. You say nothing about trying to clean the mess up or nothing about the rebuilding efforts.

So now the US is no better then the Nazi or the Japs of WWII?
Here is another question you WONT answer.
Is the US on a trip to dominate the world?

You really need to cool off. What the hell war were you in?
You killed the innocents first? That's how you wage war?
How is Occupation, which is exactly what we're doing, changing the subject? Seems you have a difficult time keeping more than one thought in your head at a time.
Is the thought of someone disagreeing with you so distasteful that you need to lose it every time it happens. Rather immature, don't you think? Get a grip, man! :doh

Name a war in which innocent people didn’t die first?
Its the first rule in WAR innocent people die dumbazz!
You think the people running power plant aren’t kill in the first sorties?

Re-read the post, you brought up “Occupation”. I replied to what you posted. Unlike you...

You think I'm mad? WTF? This is my happy tone...

You'll know when I'm mad slick...I'm almost there with your lies of being a vet..

So, now I'm a dumazz, I'm Slick, and now I'm lying about being a veteran?
Does this go along with the burning villages comment and the Jane Fonda crapola? Man, you have now reached the bottom of your sack of shat.
I don't think I love you anymore!!

I also strongly suspect that it is you who is telling tall tales here. Don't meet too many folks who have experienced real combat and are so pro war. They are usually not so apt to talk smack about it and display USMC emblems and so on. War usually makes thinkers of those who've experienced it and not cavalier hip shooters. What's your story there hero?

Then don’t just lay down.... Fight back slick. Prove me wrong...
show everyone how wrong I am..

I think you are lying about being a vet..
Why you ask?
Because you don’t know a damn thing about war..

"separate the war from the innocent" How in the hell do you do that?
Please tell the world how this is done...
You’ll win the Nobel Prize…..

What do know about war? From your maturity level on these posts I'd guess you are quite young and have never experienced what it's like. You are all puffed up and shooting from the hip. These are not the earmarks of someone who has had to grow up in a big hurry. For you're info, that's precisely what war does to you. When you've seen the effect on innocent people who cannot simply dismiss them as "oh well, those are the breaks!" You've either never seen combat or are just too thick to learn anything from it.

I also strongly suspect that it is you who is telling tall tales here. Don't meet too many folks who have experienced real combat and are so pro war.

Not becoming weak is a bad thing? Pro war? Man you are such a joke.
Because I wont talk chit about our troops (like you) and wish to clean the mess at I'm pro war? Or is I know what warfare is?...

They are usually not so apt to talk smack about it and display USMC emblems and so on.

I’M PROUD OF MY SERVICE TO THE MARINES.
I have nothing to be ashamed of.
War usually makes thinkers of those who've experienced it and not cavalier hip shooters. What's your story there hero?

My story is I served in the Marines, I am a Marine to this day. I will be a Marine when the day I die. I didn’t lay down after pulling bodies out of the US embassy, I didn’t lay down standing guard covered in blood on the same night. I didn’t lay down after the Beirut bombings, I didn’t lay down pulling MY FELLOW BROTHERS out of the rubble, I didn’t lay down after being shot, I didn’t lay down after being stabbed twice by Philippine ******s.

That’s my f**king story pal.
I wont craw into a cave and die or get on the Internet and talk chit I know nothing about or pretend to be something I’m not.

What do know about war? From your maturity level on these posts I'd guess you are quite young and have never experienced what it's like.

Try again slick..I'm 43..read my sig and you might get a clue...

Yeah right. Because you say so I'm supposed to feel sorry for every R*G head I've seen dead. And I guess I’m supposed to feel sorry for taking lives as well?
The f***ing Lebanese militants I shot weren’t pointing any kind of weapons at me. No they were flower sticks….

FYI pal I sleep just fine at night...

Video: US Troops Taunt Iraqi Children With Water
Way to build a democracy. I wonder if those guys ever thought that in 5 years US soldiers will still be in country and all of those kids will be old enough to carry a Kalashnikov or wire up an IED.

Alright, Listen up everyone and listen good........

Yeah, the children were chasing after a military truck......
Like Cherokee asked, was it the water they were chasing after????
NO!
In my 16 months in Iraq, I have NEVER drove through a neighborhood without being chased for 3 or 4 blocks by children, even when NOT holding things up. Children like to chase the soldiers vehicles, thats what they do. THey scream, GIVE ME CHOCKLATE GIVE ME GIVE ME GIVE ME..... all while putting thier hands up and doing the "grubby little kid give me give me" motion with thier hands.
The soldiers actions by no way increased any problems here.

All this talk about hundreds of thousands of kids dead, etc, etc, etc. has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with kids chasing after troop vehicles.

Its one thing to look upon those who led us into this quagmire with disgust because of thier evident lack of reasoning.......
Its entirely different to look at a short video clip and come to the conclusion that it is all the Soldiers fault.

With that said, yes there are some things that are done that shouldn't be, but guess what, that **** happens, especially with overworked, disgruntled, and disrespected 18-19 year old guys who have to put up with bullshit you couldn't even fathom every single day.

Get off your friggin' high horse and don't condemn someone before you even know what the **** is going on.

Peace.

The transcript goes something like this :

it starts with about a dozen children waving at the men on the truck who are holding out just one bottle of water.

Then the chase begins.

Two voices can be heard saying: 'Are they coming?

'You want some water? Water?

'Hi, keep running

'Come on, you're almost there. Run.

'Run. Hurry up. You want it?

'This kid's running forever.

'Run.

'Look at this kid, he's chasing it man.

'And he still didn't get it.'

And you can hear them laughing about it.

Additionally, this statement:

A spokesman from the US Department of Defense, said: 'Yes, it appears to be a US Army uniform. It does not depict actions we condone for our forces.

'Our greatest probability for success in the global war on terror comes when we display the true side of most Americans -- people willing to help others and share in their sacrifices.

'It is unfortunate that the actions of a few can be held up as an example like this because it can hurt the reputation of the many selfless Americans and men and women of the coalition serving in Iraq.'

link

suggest the video and audio shouldn't be blindly dismissed. While I admit the actions of a few sour apples doesn't make a crate, it's still wrong to offer a blanket denial.
