Vice President Vance fired back at senators criticizing Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Thursday during his testimony before the Senate Finance Committee.

“When I see all these senators trying to lecture and ‘gotcha’ Bobby Kennedy today, all I can think is: You all support off-label, untested, and irreversible hormonal ‘therapies’ for children, mutilating our kids and enriching big pharma,” Vance wrote in a Thursday statement on social platform X. “You’re full of s‑‑‑ and everyone knows it.”
 
I guess he hasn’t heard of David Geier then.

RFK Jr put into place as an advisor on vaccines David Geier who with his thankfully now dead father Mark Geier gave autistic kids Lupron in an effort to “cure” them.

So if Vance has the very stupid complaint of “Trans therefore you are wrong” then he should look at RFK Jr’s buddies.

Pretty sure hormone replacement therapy has been tested. I mean, we've used it on plenty of kids so far right? So that's testing.

Cassidy opened his questioning at a Senate hearing by asking Kennedy if he agrees Trump should get a Nobel Prize for the development of the Covid vaccine in the throes of the pandemic during his first term, known as Operation Warp Speed.
Kennedy replied quickly: “Absolutely, senator.”
Cassidy was skeptical.
“But you just told Sen. [Michael] Bennet that the Covid vaccine killed more people than Covid. That was a statement,” Cassidy said, adding that “it surprises me that you think so highly of Operation Warp Speed when, as an attorney, you attempted to restrict access” to the Covid vaccine.

Sounds like the hearing must have gone extremely badly if JD Vance is lashing out at two conservative Republican senators and trying to tie them to far-left gender goblins.

He's not even wrong that there's plenty of anti-science nonsense on the left too, it's just irrelevant to the anti-science nonsense among MAGA hats that he's defending right now.

Also, I note that despite JD Vance's angry bluster (directed at a couple Republican senators), he didn't actually defend anything RFK said. JD Vance is at least smart enough to not debase himself by actually agreeing with RFK's nonsense in writing. After all, why would Vance want to tie himself to RFK / Trump's idiocy any more than he absolutely needs to? There's no upside for JD Vance. Even MAGA hats didn't trust RFK until ten seconds ago when Donald Trump told them to, and they won't trust him the minute Trump cuts him loose.

So sure, Vance will issue the pro-forma lashing of Bill Cassidy and John Barrasso for daring to embarrass Trump, but you can tell his heart isn't really in it. He's just doing what he signed up for.
