The Trump campaign would do much better to keep Vance on "Foxsnooz" or some other Trump supporting network where we he can better handle the interview.
When you watch Vance being interviewed away from Fox, a couple of things become apparant very quickly.
First, Vance becomes arrogant and defensive when questioned about an unpopular statement or position. Much like Trump, he has little tolerance for being "challenged".
Second, Vance refuses to apologize when his mistakes are brought up. Much like Trump, Vance employs the "double down" tactic.
After watching Vance, I am convinced that Trump would have liked to have had Don Jr. as his running mate. Given that this would not have been a good campaign decision, Trump chose the closest "Don Jr. clone" that he could find.
Funny, I just rewatched that movie 2 weeks ago. I'd forgotten the legendary Tom Waits played a small role in it.My advice is that if you have political aspirations, go for the senate. If you make it there, stop. As Tom Waits said in The Fisher King, "Red. Go no further. Booeep Booeep Booeep."
That's on my list of all time favorites. It's an incredible movie.Funny, I just rewatched that movie 2 weeks ago. I'd forgotten the legendary Tom Waits played a small role in it.
Vance and Trump have one very obvious thing in common - they'll talk to the press (any and all press) and they'll take lots and lots and lots of questions!!!!!!What do Vance, Trump, and their supporters have in common?
Any guesses?

Same happened to Don-old. He was getting away with all kinds of scams and not being scrutinized. Filthy rich, plenty of power, had it made. But his ego wasn't being stroked enough. He had to get the really big head and go for the most public office in the land, with the most scrutiny into the individual. Now, all his dirt came out and he's in a very precarious legal situation of having to win or face a very strong likelihood of going to prison for the rest of his life. He's another great example of why ambition doesn't equal happiness. He was a best selling author and was doing fine. Now look what he's dealing with. He'll never get out from under it. His boss could have kept on with his rackets for the next decade or two. However, he went for the presidency, and it has damned near ruined his life.

Insanity? What do Vance, Trump, and their supporters have in common?

And sink their favorability numbers with each answer. I'm loving it, as I'm sure the Harris campaign is as well.Vance and Trump have one very obvious thing in common - they'll talk to the press (any and all press) and they'll take lots and lots and lots of questions!!!!!!
Sure, and I am glad they talk and take lots of questions, because every time they do.......................................... (you can finish the sentence).Vance and Trump have one very obvious thing in common - they'll talk to the press (any and all press) and they'll take lots and lots and lots of questions!!!!!!
I was thinking more in terms of bleating, whining, "stop picking on poor wittle us" attitudes.Insanity?
Agree 100% - it's one of those movies that I wish I could watch for the first time again. That's on my list of all time favorites. It's an incredible movie.

I watched the interview. I'm not sure about why you saw it the way you do but I would strongly disagree. I watched the interview with two people who are communications/mass media experts. Their views are very different from your claims. The Trump campaign would do much better to keep Vance on "Foxsnooz" or some other Trump supporting network where we he can better handle the interview.

That too.I was thinking more in terms of bleating, whining, "stop picking on poor wittle us" attitudes.
Maybe they should rethink that!Vance and Trump have one very obvious thing in common - they'll talk to the press (any and all press) and they'll take lots and lots and lots of questions!!!!!!
The difference here is that, in his mind, men come home after a day's work, put up their feet and wait for supper. The full Meet the Press interview below. In the interview Vance really fumbles the "childless cat lady" issue by indicating that women can't juggle a career with child raising. But men can?
Thanks
That's what y'all say when Trump speaks. The man can't follow his own train of thought but y'all are hanging at his every word like it's pure gospel.Vance did fine in that interview. He answered her questions perfectly. I don't see how any sane person can believe he failed that interview other than half-blind and deaf Democrats.
She is more accomplished than the swindling convict any dayHonestly, I think Harris is probably the dumbest, least qualified candidate for President in my lifetime.
