I know this is a small, insignificant thing, but I think all the information below a user's screename is distracting, not to mention a big clutter. I think all the information we should have is location, #posts, and maybe join date, and that's all.

Opinion noted. ThankQ.

Do you mean like pictures of superboy and stuff?

No. The avatars and user titles are fine the way they are. It's just that everytime someone posts, there's a paragraph under their screename, and it draws away from the actual post.

Bet you gots no troubles focusing when Superinfatuationboy is on, do you?

How about cartoons, they bother you?

Not to change the subject, but does this draw you away from boy Kent of the pouting lips and sultry bedroom eyes?

Little interlude here folks...

You back? That was quick. Which episode did you imagine? The one where he takes his shirt off or the one where he looks over his shoulder with a quizzical, yet knowing look, as if to say, yes kal-el, you intrigue me?

Just say it.

Get rid of the location and show Clark's azz. We all know. Come on out, it's will be good for you.

I really hate to burst your homoerotic bubble Teacher, but no, as much as you'd like it, I don't bat for the other team. I believe (maybe I'm wrong) that you asked me before. You seem to be the only one who asks, why the hell do you care? I think you so badly want someone else to come out so you're not alone. There's saftey in numbers. You put up all these asinine cartoon images of some buff guy in tight shorts as if you want to say something, but you're too afraid to, so I think that maybe YOU are the one who needs to come out? C'mon, It's okay, nobody will think any less of you. And I believe, last time I checked, this was not the basement, we are not the only ones reading this, so a little hint: I would try and use a bit more tact with my approach if I were you.

PS If You Live in a glass house, you shouldn't throw stones.

Personally, I like the margin info. There are many VB forums that would love to have the technical savy to accomplish this.

In a future revision (hopefully updated shortly) we should have the ability to turn this info off in our profile.

That would be cool.

What? You were saying something? I was busy looking at all the crap under your user screen name to pay attention.

I like all the side information, I dont find it distracting at all.

something I have see on other VB forums though, is having the user information have a slightly different background color. this would allow all the information to stay there, while making it visually easier to seperate from the content of the posts.

Exactly my point.

Personally, I appreciate the information provided. The Internet is an anonymous enough entity as it is. I like to have some sense of with whom I share my thoughts. IMO it makes things a bit more personable and reminds us that every post is indeed generated by another living human being.

Error...error....that does not compute....error.

I will try to do this - this weekend. I changed it to a grey and it looked very strange.

Perhaps you don't need a different <bgcolor> vauge. Experimenting with <border> properties may suffice.

How about this color scheme?

It is actually the same color, different shade.

I like it on the posts and quotes, don't care for it on the Home Page. Makes the Home Page look too boxey and heavy.
