In recent years, Republicans have enjoyed a big advantage with military personnel and veterans. By painting Democrats as weak on defense and wrapping themselves in the flag, they have outmaneuvered Democrats in states with a significant number of military or former military voters, including reserve forces and National Guard members (e.g., Texas, Florida, Virginia).

It came as a shock, then, when the Military Times reported on Monday: “In the latest results — based on 1,018 active-duty troops surveyed in late July and early August — nearly half of respondents (49.9 percent) had an unfavorable view of the president, compared to about 38 percent who had a favorable view.

No surprise, right?

Get back in formation, Private; after you drop and give me 20.

How about a president who wears adult diapers? Biden is your guy..

Trump can't even drink a glass of water without having a stroke in the process.

I think the military recognizes a con man when they see one.
There has never been a member of Trump's family to wear a military uniform. This is beneath them.

The really bad news for Trump in this survey of all ranks across the armed forces is the measly 38% "favorable" finding. (50% "unfavorable".)

In December 42% were favorable toward Trump.

In November 2016 Trump's favorable was 47%. This low favorable right from the beginning suggested that Trump being Trump he had nowhere to go except down. It has become a self fulfilling prophecy of a sort.

This year there was Capt. Crozier, LTC Vindman and the PutinTrumpRowers bounty against the lives of US combatants and personnel deployed and serving abroad. Then there was Trump trying to use 101st Airborne troops at Lafayette Square and Park against unarmed civilian protesters and demonstrators critical of Trump; the troops told their commanders, "We don't belong here" and were quickly returned to base in NC.

Trump's been shooting himself in the foot like he was a centipede.

This could easily have been figured out if they had asked the troops who they would vote for, Trump or Biden. Since they didn't, I have to ask, why would the liberal media NOT ask the obvious question?
