So following in bold is what is at the Polish web site in question. Still sounds like there is some work to be done. But there should not be much dickering which again suggests a pretty slick move by Poland.

The authorities of the Republic of Poland, after consultations between the President and the Government, are ready to deploy – immediately and free of charge – all their MIG-29 jets to the Ramstein Air Base and place them at the disposal of the Government of the United States of America.

At the same time, Poland requests the United States to provide us with used aircraft with corresponding operational capabilities. Poland is ready to immediately establish the conditions of purchase of the planes.

Well, will the Media finally now get off this particular story for a bit. Have US diplomates learned their lesson about answering every IDIOT question the media has regarding issues that a simply should not be discussed.

Apparently the talks with Poland regarding the MIG29's has stalled over how to delivery them to Ukraine. Quite possibly both the media and the State Dept should have been smarter.

Remember it was Blinken that answered the media literally saying that we are working with Poland to negotiate a way forward regarding the jet fighters which of course shifted the pressure back to Poland. Has the media learned that there are some questions you simply cannot probe at like some petulant child at a time when bombs are falling and people are dying.
