Seems like the caravanning migrants from Central America are realizing they aren't going to be allowed in as easily as they thought, some are opting for Mexico's "assisted return" (bus back to the border) and others accepting work in Mexico with a "humanitarian work permit". Apparently many were misled by caravan organizers, thought they'd be allowed in and automatically get to stay and work in the US at least at least until they're "credible fear" hearings, figured Trump's alarms and military deployment was just rhetoric. They're disappointed about the delay in just submitting asylum applications (50-60 per day), unhappy with the squalor of the Tijuana encampments, concerned over the lack of hospitality by the citizenry in Tijuana and have seen the border is actually defended.
But there's hope, yesterday 32 deranged lefty gringoes were busted by the Border Patrol, they were "religious leaders from the community" (in San Diego) who protested in a restricted area near the border with Tijuana after being warned they'd be arrested for doing so at that location (one was additionally charged with assaulting a Border Patrol officer).
