US Park Police lose track of thousands of weapons

And they were guns that were suppose to be within the department...still.

Just a paperwork issue. Americans are too anal about paperwork generally anyway.

Ain't that the truth!

Yep. Apparently Russia drove NASA engineers to the brink of insanity for their part of the space station as they just do it until they figure out a way to make it work, keep no notes or plans, and then come up with some half-ass blue print once they are finished with something. It is why I am more surprised there aren't more unaccounted for Russian nukes than there are.

American governments at all levels.

Laziness coupled with lack of accountability from the American people.

Sigh. I don't know why is worse? That this isn't huge news...or that I'm not even surprised. Pathetic. This is why guns belong in the hands of private citizens before the government. At least then we can protect ourselves from the criminals they armed.
