US Iran (1 Viewer)

What happens if the US and Iran talks fail?

Dick Cheney may be called to testify. What happens now/next? Will Dick Cheney go to jail?

Since Scott Mcclellan has resigned, what happens next?

Since A Iran official has warned the U.S. against strike what happens next? what happens now?

What Happens If you add your own opinions on these subjects, rather than simply asking a one line question?

In my opinion if the talks work out Iran could eventually become a ally not a axis. DOES THIS COUNT AS A OPINION?

Iran has deeper trouble brewing than their decade-away WMD program coming to fruition. Not covered by many media outlets is their intention to open an oil exchange in their own country, and furthermore, the possibility that they will allow trading in Euros. That would almost certainly be disasterous for them, since the Dollar is backed by, well, our great big bombs.

I imagine that 'talks' with Iran will likely include at least some major reference to this plan. That is if the US and Iran can even get past the daily "he said she said" political bollocks and talk at all instead of calling each other names in the press.

Yes, it has been registered in early May this year. The Iranian oil ministry is working at the Articles of Association of the Iranian Oil Bourse (IOB).

As for the currency of transactions, Danesh-Jafari said that Euro has not yet been finalized as the legal tender of transactions in the oil bourse, and the final decision about that totally depends upon the Oil Ministry’s proposed IOB Articles of Association.

It is not expected that switching to Euro will be an issue at actual Caracas OPEC meeting, because the only OPEC members so far to show interest in trading in Euros are Iran and Venezuela.
