US intelligence indicates Iran paid bounties to Taliban for targeting American troops in Afghanistan

It must be tough being tone deaf and illiterate. My position is that we are going to sanction states that target US troops than we should sanction all that do so. Not just pick and choose. If Russia's targeting of US troops was as this President said a hoax. Then how are we to know that this isn't one too. Especially given how desperate this President to boost re-election chances and being the prism through which he views everything, and given that he has recently replaced key US intelligence positions with political cronies. And open your eyes to the Saudis. They attacked us on 9/11, armed militias that supported ISIS that attacked our troops, committing atrocities in Yemen, and recently committed an act of terrorism on a US base on US soil that resulted in the deaths of 3 US Navy men.

Sadly, the world isn't beavercleaverville. Sanctioning Iran isn't "unfair" if we don't sanction other countries that are larger, more powerful or have something to offer of benefit to the United States or its allies. And if it is, tough, Iran can sit and spin for funding terrorists.

Sad that it's the world you seem to be living in. Putin's popularity has taken a big hit in Russia. While the protests in Belarus and Siberia may not represent an existential threat to his regime. It's probably enough of a concern for him to demonstrate to his coterie of klepto oligarch supporters that he's willing to deploy ruthless measures to hold on to power. And If Putin felt vulnerable enough at home to poison Navalny, his primary political challenger. Then we should probably expect him to increase the attacks on our democracy, and those of the western world, at a even greater risk of conflict between us, our allies and them.

Good thing we're sanctioning Iran, then. Seems like a good plan.

LOL! Your S/N ought to changed to 'Myopic Mouse".

I'm unafraid to say that nations that sponsor terrorism probably should be sanctioned. Your disagreement with that and endless deflections and whataboutisms have not swayed my opinion on the matter.
