President Trump and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced that the US and EU had agreed to the framework of a trade deal after negotiations in Scotland on Sunday.
Trump called the deal “the biggest of them all,” while von der Leyen said that the EU had agree to 15% tariffs "across the board." Details of the framework are still being confirmed.
Earlier on Sunday the South China Morning Post, a Hong Kong-based English-language newspaper, reported that "Beijing and Washington are expected to extend their tariff truce by another three months at trade talks in Stockholm beginning on Monday."
The US was always going to sign a trade deal with the EU because not doing so would be simple madness.
This was always going to happen no matter who was in charge.
The deal isn't sealed yet, things could still go wrong. But if it IS sealed soon Trump deserves the credit for it.
Spiking the ball a little early, wut?Trump wins again. Liberals are wrong as usual though they'll continue to show they're stupidity by insisting this will be a tax on Americans.
Expecting a big day in the markets Monday. Staying long and strong.

LOL, yeah, you don't understand any of this."On Friday, Trump said that letters dictating tariff rates for over 200 countries would go out soon..."
Why do Trumpanzees still believe anything Trump says? It's been weeks, months maybe, since Trump said that bit of stupidity and got mocked and ridiculed for it and here he is again, telling you lot that same stupid lie again.
Oh, in case you don't know what I'm talking about, there's 193 countries in the world. 195 if you count Vatican City and the State of Palestine.
Course, Trumps such a laughable dimwit he counts St. Pierre and Miquelon, the last French possession in North America, as a country.
Have the Heard and McDonald Islands given in yet?"On Friday, Trump said that letters dictating tariff rates for over 200 countries would go out soon..."

Wehow are liberals/left spinning all these trade deals ?
gawd they have to hate it
It was simple English. Far more trade deals were expected earlier this month based on this president's hyperbole. Exponentially less have been delivered and well after the deadline, with now an extension set for China. If someone doesn't like their hyperbole called out, then perhaps not making ridiculous claims is a start.LOL, yeah, you don't understand any of this.
This. Thus far it appears to be the concept of a plan for an agreement that may someday lead to a deal.Spiking the ball a little early, wut?
…….US and EU had agreed to the framework of a trade deal after negotiations in Scotland on Sunday.. - from the OP link. Kinda like a concept, wut?

That's where all of the deals are right now. There are frameworks for the ones with India, Japan, and the EU so it's not total vaporware.Spiking the ball a little early, wut?

You do? Explain it to me.LOL, yeah, you don't understand any of this.
Excellent deal for the US. It looks like the EU literally got nothing in the deal.Trump wins again. Liberals are wrong as usual though they'll continue to show they're stupidity by insisting this will be a tax on Americans.
