Seems we are trying to help the MB stay relevant within Egypt. Major mistake.....they are on the ropes and can be taken out. They are losing money and influence. Now we should just stay out of it and let them Egyptian Military continue to lock them up and those that go radical, let them keep dealing with them as they are. U.S. Deputy Secretary of State William Burns extended his visit to Cairo by one day so he could meet military leader Gen. Abdel-Fatah el-Sissi and the country's prime minister on Sunday, an Egyptian Foreign Ministry official said. A member of the pro-Morsi delegation that met Saturday with Burns said the four delegates also would meet again with the U.S. diplomat on Sunday for more talks.

At the core of talks is the political future of the Muslim Brotherhood and its Islamist allies following the July 3 coup that ousted Morsi, the country's first freely elected president. The military coup, which followed several days of mass protests by millions of Egyptians demanding his ouster, also led to the dissolution of the Islamist-dominated parliament and the suspension of an Islamist-drafted constitution.

The Brotherhood says it is looking for concessions before beginning talks with their rivals. Such measures could include releasing detained Brotherhood leaders, unfreezing the group's assets, lifting a ban on its television stations and reigning in the use of force against its protesters.....snip~

Well it looks like to me.....we created the mess in the first place. By backing anything that was supported by the MB. Time to wise up. Cut the losses and understand that they are intertwined with al Qaeda. That they will never be able to fake their way thru Democracy to establish their Islamist United States. That they would only do so to gain power. Then it's back to their usual. Stabbing us in the back. Persecuting women and gays. Doing all they can to create whatever problems they can for Western Civilization.

There is no need to give the Muslim Brotherhood any countries to run.....ever!

Well what do you think the MB has been doing in other Countries? The sectarian divide has already been spreading. It has almost encompassed the entire Mid-East and with Egypt being on that Frontier Leading to it. They are instrumental in that fight against the Shia. Moreover it the Sunni Clerics out of Egypt that has pressed issues and with the West and most definitely with us.

What can Egypt do about the Suez? They need it as a life line. So not much they can do there.
