Here you go again with your everyone should act responsibly except for Trump nonsense.
Reality really doesn’t resonate with the right. Let’s see if this sinks in:
How often do you wear a mask outside your home?
Always - Republicans = 24%, Democrats = 61%
Very often - Republicans = 33%, Democrats = 22%
Sometimes- Republicans = 18%, Democrats = 4%
Rarely - Republicans = 9%, Democrats = 1%
Never - Republicans = 27%, Democrats = 1%
So obviously it’s the right who doesn’t accept responsibility. Trump’s long-standing anti mask position is no doubt largely responsible for the irresponsible actions of Republicans as compared to Democrats.
Americans' Face Mask Usage Varies Greatly by Demographics
Your death to infection rate is a totally useless number. Need some help here? First you can’t even read your own chart. There are NOT 6.1 million recoveries. 6.1 million is just the total infected minus the current deaths.
What is really sad is we have people like you who are math challenged and keep posting nonsense. The way you calculate the deaths to infection rate assumes that EVERYONE who is infected now will survive which is of course nonsense. Sadly either you have never been able to comprehend this or you just continue to try to deceive people on this board.
The only correct way to calculate deaths to infection during a pandemic is to use cases that have been resolved. The correct formula is deaths divided by the the cases that have been resolved which is recovered plus deaths.
Using the correct formula, the current number for the US is 5% and for Germany 4%. So therefore if you contract the disease then based on the death to infection rate you would be better off in Germany. Furthermore since you want to use that number as a measure of a country’s effectiveness then Germany’s healthcare system is more effective than ours.
But of course your numbers are all just a poor attempt at deflection.
The REAL question is who is keeping their country safe. That is best measured by looking at deaths per million population. On that basis it is easy to see that Germany is 5 times safer than the US with Germany having 112 deaths per million and the US having 578 deaths per million.
