Bronson, maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but maybe you missed Danarhea's point: it appeared to be just for a laugh .. and I indeed found the conflicting absurdity of it amusing.
I don't believe, he, a conservative, was making a case for Obama.
And an apropos political philosophy that is, if I do say so myself. :lol:Of course I wasn't. I am a equal opportunity basher. Democrat or Republican, I hate every one of those sons of bitches. LOL.

Is that the new campaign slogan? :lamo
Perhaps we should just shorten it to:

Obama 2012
It could have been worse...

Dude. 90% of your bashes are against Republicans. Everyone knows this.
Perhaps it's true in your own mind, but it's absolutely not an accurate description of your behavior at DP.
I'd rather gain 820,000 jobs, how about you?So you would rather lose the 820,000 jobs then?
I'd rather gain 820,000 jobs, how about you?
Really? Damn, so when was the last time I bashed Obama? Is that what you are asking? Hmmm, good question. Let me look.
Oh here we go. It was today. Damn, I love it when people start losing arguments, and think that the only way they can make a point is to personally attack other members for their lean, or maybe whether or not they wiped their ass or brushed their teeth that morning. No problem. let all that hate out, and send it my way. I relish it. Meanwhile, you could say something about the OP, since I do not happen to be the topic of this thread. LOL.
Anyone who thinks this is a good jobs report is either a macro-economic ignoramus and/or has a personal stake in spinning the report to sound better then it is.
Yeah, so you can point to one thing. I did say 90%. I know you do occasionally bash a Democrat, but it's like a gala event when you do, it's so rare.
No, it's not the topic of the thread, so I'll leave you with this -- why not peruse your own posting history objectively and take a look to see whether I'm right.
In case you don't know it our biggest trading partners (60% of our exports go to Europe) are now back in a recession and LOSING jobs every week. They are back in recession because of economic policy mistakes made by their leaders. There is plenty of room for improvement in our numbers but as long as the rest of the world is slowing or going backwards, I can't see us doing much better. We could however get much worse and join our European friends in another downturn if we aren't careful. I think it is foolish to switch horses in the middle of a recovery so fragile and risk a long painful Romney recession. Since every Republican President has had one in his first term it is twice as dangerous. Unless of course you like recessions.
But I will accept a modest gain over a significant loss given the parameters of reality.
Again, I am not the topic of this thread. If you have an issue with what I posted, then speak to the issue. What you are doing is silly.
You do of course realize that there were 119,000 fewer Americans employed in August than there were in July...
Me too. Look you can look at bls data and see there were several months in 2007 during the Bush administration were the monthly totals were less than 96K.I would rather gain 18 million. I would also like to grow wings so I can fly around at will. I would also like every Playboy centerfold over the last five years to develop and deep and insatiable craving for me.
But I will accept a modest gain over a significant loss given the parameters of reality.
Sorry Pete, but you are wrong...
See for yourself:
Notice: Data not available: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics
Yeah we could continue to go along with more failure, but why?
Why is Europe in their mess? Socialism
That should answer your question why we have to change.
We need a growing economy, and Obama is not about growth, he's about borrow and spend and entitlements.
Bad link....:roll::roll:
Edit: What bls report were you looking at?
In July, there were 155,013,000 in the U.S. civilian labor force. In August that dropped to 154,645,000—meaning that on net 368,000 people simply dropped out of the labor force last month and did not even look for a job.
There were also 119,000 fewer Americans employed in August than there were in July. In July, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there were 142,220,000 Americans working. But, in August, there were only 142,101,000 Americans working.
This can't be good for Obama... But you never know how the main stream media will spin it, since Obama needs help.
You do of course realize that there were 119,000 fewer Americans employed in August than there were in July... And on top of that, it takes around 125,000 jobs created per month just to keep up with population growth...
So you might want to reconsider calling the August numbers a "modest gain" and give that "significant loss" title some more thought. It might be a better fit.
Actually Obama is now head of the fastest growing western nation so he must be doing something right.
Europe is in another recession because of a failed economic policy of budget cuts that short circuited their recovery. Romney is promisng the same thing for us, with the same results.
You want to trade modest growth for the Romney recession. You want to give up 2.5% GDP growth for more negative quarters and higher unemployment.
Thankfully Americans are wise to Republians and how they so regularly fail at encouraging growth or employment. Their record is abysmal by any measure.
They used to get votes because voters thought they would keep them safe. Bush blew that for them.
They have nothing left but their unabashed pandering to the rich and that doesn't impress many people.
Its disastrous. The incompetence of the affirmative action poster child is becoming more and more evident.
It is painfully that the JOB CREATORS are sitting on their fat collective asses.
