The Trump administration on Monday announced new sanctions against Venezuela's state-owned oil company, ramping up pressure on leader Nicolás Maduro to give up power.

U.S. national security adviser John Bolton told reporters at the White House that the sanctions will block $7 billion in assets and could result in $11 billion in lost sales over the next year.

When I was very young, my father got me interested in stamp collecting. I remember early German stamps that were over stamped with ridiculous prices. This was the period between the world wars.
