University Tells Student to Remove Cross Necklace [W:196]

You may have missed my post to you, #178. It would be grand if you'd respond.
 
But I don't see how wearing a cross to express that belief is an intrinsic part of that person.

Many people think that they must wear such emblems as part of their faith. My grandmother, for example, believes that she must always wear a gold crucifix. My aunt (her daughter) was a nun. I don't get it myself, but i know that some people believe that it is just as religiously required as a hi-jab or a yarmulke.
