And organized workers will do that job for better pay and in safer working conditions, assuming they're not artificially undercut by scab states. The job is worth what someone is willing to do it for.
If they weren't against the union then why be against a method of voting for unionization? As for this specific company, they werne't even against the union.. They were against the stacked deck of a card check election and they claim they pay a decent salary and haven't had employment issues in the past. So.. Maybe not so much.

"We offer good salaries and good benefits, and we've never had a labor issue," Donald Boss, Kinkisharyo's general manager of program management, told The Los Angeles Times. "If our employees want to organize, they can. But we aren't going to organize for them."

ter·ror·izeˈterəˌrīz/Because card check allows unions to terrorize innocent people just looking for a good job.
ter·ror·izeˈterəˌrīz/
"verb"
create and maintain a state of extreme fear and distress in (someone); fill with terror.
LOL !!
Thats ALL you have. Left wing false narratives not supported by anything but your opinion.
Texas is kicking ass, so suck it up
As long is there is a hungry belly to feed, there will always be someone willing to work for less.
Companies know this, which is why the idea that Labor and Capital come to the table as equals, is a myth.
When unions come in, they bring about more of an equilibrium between Capital and Labor which of course, Capital doesn't like.
This sends Capital into the loving arms of Right to Work for Less States.
Capital is happy to give quarterly to the coffers of politicians sympathetic to their plight because it is cheaper than paying people a fair wage.
When all else fails, Capital looks outside the US to exploit Labor. Plenty of hungry bellies outside our borders.
.. and yet unions still haven't learned. Must not be the brightest people.
False narratives? Nope....sorry....its just the facts. But I've noticed that facts don't really mean much to your folk.

I realize that scab friendly states undercut fair paying and safe jobs.
I believe workers' rights should be strengthened nationally to prevent other states from allowing the race to the bottom that we've been seeing for decades now as middle class jobs disappear while corporate profits skyrocket.
Doesn't change the facts still:
Texas had the most minimum-wage workers last year, accounting for nearly 13 percent of all such workers across the country, according to data released Tuesday by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Thank you for adding to what is commonly know about card check organizing.
Thats true....and that's why states such as Texas that give free land away and hand out tons of corporate welfare bring the quality of life down for the vast majority of workers while lining the pockets of the CEO's with taxpayer money.
Texas has the highest percentage of people working for minimum wage (Tied with Mississippi).....do you think this is good for the working and middle class?
Undercutting your citizens into low paying jobs hurts both your citizens and the citizens of the states standing up for better conditions and pay.
Taking a low ball offer doesn't make you a winner, it makes the corporation low balling you a winner. Everyone else loses.

Again, why do you keep lying. Texas has the highest number of people making FEDERALminimum wage, California has three times the number making California minimum wage but you ignore that. Prior to July it was $8 an hour. Keep showing your ignorance of your own state
I was defining terrorize for you, since it appears you were unfamiliar with its proper usage.
"Card check (also called majority sign-up) is a method for American
employees to organize into a labor union in which a majority of employees in a bargaining unit sign authorization forms, or "cards," stating they wish to be represented by the union. Since theNational Labor Relations Act(NLRA) became law in 1935, majority sign-up has been an alternative to the National Labor Relations Board's (NLRB) election process. Majority sign-up and election are both overseen by the National Labor Relations Board."
Card check - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Majority of employees voting to unionize doesn't fall under my conventional definition of "terror."
Any idea where those corporate profits go and where the wages these people earn go. How about the tax revenue generated on those corporate profits? Do you people ever think of individuals and the benefits of actually having a job? That's ok, send them to TX. Since we don't give away the state our Cost of living is a lot cheaper here
People make bad long term decisions for selfish short term gain. It's in our human nature.Yes, but apparently you haven't told the people moving here that since apparently in your world people are too stupid that they move to TX for lowing paying jobs and no insurance. Do you realize how foolish you sound?
Your own scare tactics beat the union scare tactics. Morality prevails.Thank you very much for thinking I was unfamiliar with the proper usage of the word terrorize. As a Union hack who refers to temporary workers a vile scabs, I'm sure you're quite familiar with its proper usage.
Yet, let's not kid ourselves, the only reason card check is used is to remove the privacy an election provides. As you no doubt know, pro-union forces are very interested in learning who is standing in the way of their objective.
Sorry, but I've been one of those people on the other side of the table listening to the rhetoric. Thankfully, my employees understood what they would be giving up should a union organizing attempt be successful. As such, the unions scare tactics were never successful. And my employees were the ones who decided that.
LOL....the BLS numbers that you love to cite speak for themselves. You always try to shuffle and dance...but you cannot change (or deal with for that matter) the facts.

Yes, they do speak for themselves, does Californian earn Federal Minimum wage? Who does BLS survey? You seem to have a problem understanding BLS and who they survey. Suggest you get better educated on the site
