The presence of the hybrid forces in Darfur known as UNAMID has undermined the Sudanese government’s efforts to bring about security and stability in the region. The Sudanese government, therefore, has insisted on the withdrawal of these forces from the region.

The failure of this force has become clear. One evidence is that the peace keepers are no longer capable to defend themselves or protect the civilians from the rebel attacks.

The Sudanese army has dozens of evidence that affirmed the involvement of the hybrid force in intelligence and spy activities targeting the security, integration and stability of the homeland.

Many reported case s have pointed out that the peace keepers do not work neutrally according to international norms and conventions of their mission.

The presence of peace keepers anywhere is necessitated by certain exceptional cases and interim period. Once any of the factors disappears, there will be no justification for the presence of the peace keepers in the host country.

The speech by the US envoy before the Security Council was understood as destructive, propaganda and unjustifiable criticism because the rejection of the walkout of the UNAMID will lead to serious consequences in the short run.

The United Nations has lost credibility and justice and become just a tool in the hand of certain superpowers.

Supporting the presence of the UNAMID in Darfur despite its conspicuous failure will ensure incredibility of the peace keeping mission around the globe and threat the mission as a new sort of colonization.

In turn, the Sudanese government has the right to to embark on restoring its sovereignty by expelling these forces from its territories because the peace keepers have become part of the problem.

According to international laws, Sudan as a host country has the right to terminate the presence the UNAMID.

The Deep discussion over the withdrawal of these troops is the best and effective way to reinforce peace and stability achieved mainly the Sudanese army and other regular forces. Sudan Views-News

Sudan president Omar al-Bashir (indicted for genocide) wants the UN and African Union peacekeepers out of Darfur so he can once again unleash his Janjaweed militia against civilians.
