UN Security counil unanimously condemns rogue terrorist state attack on Qatar

Even the US, seeing the reaction and problems it threatens from the region, is pretending it didn't approve it, and voted to condemn it. Why so I suspect 'pretend'? One reason - note the zero consequences.

Pakistan and Algeria spoke about the vote. The rogue terrorist state line is that because the US killed Osama bin Laden in Pakistan, they get to bomb Qatar. Bonus points: Pakistani ambassador IIRC referred to them as 'rogue state who commits the worst terrorism'.

 
My thoughts have been no matter how much the US pretend to be surprised and outraged about this, they must have known and approved it. The US has several military bases ready to defend Qatar's airspace. Likewise the Qatari government must have been informed beforehand, they have after all an air defence system of their own.
