SEVASTOPOL, April 14. /TASS/. Ukraine may, with the support of the United States, organize provocations with the death of its military personnel and the loss of equipment in order to launch military operations against Crimea, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said.
With the support of Washington, the Ukrainian side is increasingly making statements about plans to establish control over the territory of Crimea by force, and the new military security strategy of Ukraine directly defines Russia as a military enemy, Patrushev recalled, speaking on Wednesday in Sevastopol at a meeting on ensuring national security on the peninsula.
"Provocations organized by Ukraine with the support of the United States with the death of military personnel and the loss of military equipment may become the reason for the start of military operations," the Secretary of the Security Council warned.
"By flirting with the new US administration, Kiev is ready to plunge the country into military adventures, despite the further deterioration of the economic situation in the country," Patrushev said.
Western countries, led by the United States, declaring their disinterest in fueling the conflict over Crimea, are actually pushing Kiev to provocations and strengthening the Ukrainian army, Patrushev said.
At a meeting on Wednesday in Sevastopol on ensuring national security in Crimea, he noted that the West, led by the United States, calling on Moscow not to take measures to ensure security in the border area, "push Ukraine to provocations." "They verbally declare their disinterest in fueling the conflict, but in fact they allocate funds for arming the Ukrainian army, increase the presence of ships in the Black Sea, plan a series of joint exercises, supply lethal weapons, train Ukrainian servicemen, and strengthen intelligence activities in the Crimean direction using aircraft and radio - electronic means," Patrushev said.

Content Removed * Personally, I can add that in a possible war, Russia will protect its interests, and Ukraine, as a loyal lackey, will protect the interests of its masters... I hope that not "to the last Ukrainian". In addition, Putin has already said recently that in the event of war, Ukraine may lose its independence. |
