[W:#23,579]Ukraine War Thread

This supposedly is the war criminal who performed the castratiion on a POW.

His unique tattoos render him vulnerable to retribution.
If that is so, and his picture is being sent around the world, I hope he is actually the war criminal and not someone innocent of the war crime. If he were captured, I don't believe he should be subjected to what he was accused of. I don't believe in torture. Like John McCain. One of the only things he and I agreed on.

I have a friend with GBS, acquired twenty years ago after severe chemo for Hep A and C. It took away a great deal of this stamina and periodically forces him to use a wheel chair. It's effects cycled from apparent recovery to periods of being bedridden. Over the years he has slowly improved and now at 80 has learned to not physically push himself so as to avoid the worst effects (he is no longer finds himself bed ridden).

However, its not killing him and save for the hand shaking and periodic use of his motorized wheelchair for longer distances, he still works at his home business.

Unfortunately, it won't kill Putin.

Still, GBS wouldn't explain Putin's edema.
If one get can get GBS from severe chemo is it far fetched to believe one can get GBS from poisoning? I'm writing this in regards to the other man not Putin.

Average lifespan of Russian males is mostly around 50's-60's tops.
Yes of course Putin has an army of medical specialists but the stresses of not winning, and possibly losing, a war which he hyped as essential to Russia's future has to be affecting him.
True. Russian coups can be bad for your health.

This YouTube channel is doing nightly live broadcasts and goes into great detail about the events in Ukraine. I really like the location-based news summaries, where they where the event happened in Ukraine and then show you video footage of the event. It is the most comprehensive daily summary of events about Ukraine that I've found.

This is the first video footage of the Phoenix Ghost that I've seen:

Brief description of the Phoenix Ghost:

"The Phoenix Ghost has vertical takeoff capabilities, can track a target for up to six hours and can operate at night using infrared sensors, Deptula told Politico. While the Switchblade can only fly for less than an hour, the Phoenix Ghost can loiter for much longer."

Must have received newly trained soldiers
30 BTG- IIRC a BTG 6-8 hd soldiers -

They better have more than 2 weeks of training, because they will go straight at the Ukraine troops, which have been preparing their offensive for weeks.
The Ukraine with their Mars and long range NATO guns have had a field day in the Oblast. That will be a a interesting development to watch.
Next weekend ????!!!!

Max was 4 weeks, or less.
Read about 6-8 weeks ago Russian contracted soldiers, many contracts were expiring in the following 4 months
Read Russia announced new combat operations for 6 Aug.

Weeks ago I wrote that the Ukraine has to go for the South, the coast, the real price, to force the Russians to thin out their forces in the Dumb-ars, force them to relocate.
That is happening now.
As I wrote several times, when the Western weapons come finally into play the real dance starts. The Ukraine has been softening up the South, by hitting strategic targets, ammo, fuel, command and infrastructure.
It is my opinion that in August the real dance will start and it will be a rather bloody dance, for both sides.
But if the Ukraine can prevail, it gets rather tricky for Russia, because of the Crimea, which I think is the ultimate price. If Ukraine can push into Crimea, then Russia has to pull everything it has in the East to defend the crown jewel.
Luhansk, Dumb-ars are wasteland, every town and city destroyed, nothing there left of value, just keep the Russians staled.
It is in the South where this war will be decided

One thing we found about the Ukraine Army, it has a apparently a good NCO and junior officer corps. It senior officers are rather good. NATO trained.
The corruption of favourism of the Ukraine has not deeply penetrated the military. If, the Army would have already collapsed.
They have prepped for month for the Southern offensive and my guess is, that they have put quiet an effort into the training of those soldiers, based on what we have seen till now.
If you are a Russian short timer, you just want to get out alive, they are not defending their own country. They just want to survive and go home
