Okey dokey.

Maybe war CAN be avoided.

Russia will simply recognize those breakaway areas as part of Russia.

And, of course, Ukraine will not use force to take those areas back.

So Russia has now gobbled up Crimea and will soon gobble up more parts of Ukraine.

Then in a few years, other parts of Ukraine will defect to Russia.

In short, Ukraine is finished as an independent nation.

The Russians have won.

President Biden and NATO can get credit for having avoided war.

It's a win-win for everyone -- except for Ukraine.

It appears as though Putin is starting a war.

Correction. Independent states soon to be dependent states of Russia.

Reports are that Russian “peacekeepers” have entered those regions.

NATO should immediately vote The Ukrainian in.

I'm sure some Americans would love to send troops to die for Ukraine...

This tweet has aged about as well as Biden has...

Neither are independent states in any way, shape or form.

It's a major loss for democracy as a whole. No one country has any right to re-draw another country's borders. Ukraine is recognized as a nation by the rest of the world. What gives Putin the right to just take what he wants?

You really need to brush up on current affairs and stop watching Tucker.
