There was only the perfectly reasonable investigation into Trump's campaign after 1) his known history of association with Russians, including money laundering through his properties, 2) Russia's well known interference on his behalf in the election, confirmed by all of our intelligence agencies and 3) his very public request, available in video, asking them to give him dirt on his political opponent. Ask yourself how many Trump campaign associates were charged with Failure to File as Foreign Agents of Russia. Do you even remember?

To NOT investigate Trump's collusion, and his campaign's connections to Russia, would have amounted to a dereliction of duty. Mueller's investigation was the most justified in the history of Special Prosecutors, incredibly productive, and essentially payed for itself in fines.

It was anything but a hoax!

I didn't pay much attention to Mueller or even Trump, at the time. Only two things stood out to me: Barr's unprecedented damage control the day before the report, and Trump saying "No collusion. No obstruction" 24/7 after the report, when the report said neither.

Trump's repetition also raised an eyebrow. He beat the lie into the cult's heads. What is actually brainwashing is perceived as a chant, a battle cry; accepted, repeated and presented as fact. After three years, the lingering effects of misinformation trauma are still with us...them I mean. Lol.
