Uae/Israel agreement

Their interests are no longer important to anyone else.

The Palestinians have always been a tool of various Arab dictators. They were created, and their refugee population sustained , as a weapon to use against Israel and to misdirect their populations from their more local oppressors.

Now that the Arab leaders are starting to recognize they have bigger, more pressing threats, that the Israelis are not the threats that they were made out to be, and that collaboration with Israel in economics and technology could in fact be a boon to their own economies and the prosperity of their populations, the Palestinian tool they invented is no longer useful to them.

Now of course this isn't everyone. The Palestinians are a useful tool to both the Turks and the Iranians with their own imperial aspirations over the ME, allowing them to pick up the discarded tool to show the masses how "much they care", but they like the other Arab countries before them don't actually care about the Palestinians either.

And all through this, the Palestinians have remained as obstinate as ever, unwilling to make peace, unwilling to compromise, and unwilling to actually face reality (see, e.g., Arafat's musings about the Jewish temple for a base case of how reality denial has permeated Palestinianism.

So now the Palestinians will be fully abandoned by the gulf kingdoms, will be picked up to be weaponized by the Iranians and the Turks to try to increase their leverage in the region, and will cling to their invented fantasies and delusional utopianism for another generation or two until the Turks and Iranians decide they don't need the Palestinians anymore either. All the while 5th and beyond generation "refugees" will remain in Lebanese internment camps unable to get education or jobs because they had ancestors that lived for a few years in Southern Syria. All the while Israel and those smart enough to not be Israel's enemies will continue to grow and prosper.

your post is all fine and dandy but Iran doenst like Palestine nor lebanon, nor hezbollah

its shia vs sunni

and arab leaders want to be pro USA so they dont cARE About israel as much

no they wont-Iran,syria and lebanon hate Jordan

Iran and Turkey are all that's left. Both aspiring imperialists in the Arab world. Syria is Iran, as is Lebanon through Hezbollah. But if Lebanon frees itself from the Iranian yoke it will also abandon the Palestinians (remember, few countries in the region, including Israel, treat Palestinian "refugees" worse than Lebanon and Lebanon has its own history with the PLO and the Palestinians that is still a huge sore spot for many Lebanese).

Syria will be a laggard for a whole bunch of reasons, but is basically a failed state anyways and has no ability to actually help the Palestinians. No one is going to do anything that will help the Palestinians (just like they have not done anything that will help them for the last 80 years)

wouldnt it be about Jordan for absobing the population as its closest to the west bank

Well, Jordan is majority Palestinian and unilaterally stripped WB Palestinians of Jordanian citizenship in the 90s, so there would be a good argument that Jordan should do that, yes.

Jordan won't, because the Jordanian government doesn't want the hassle or adverse political impact on the monarchy of admitting a whole bunch more Palestinian Arab citizens

of course they don't like them. Nasser didn't like them either. They are a tool that allow the aspiring imperialists in Istanbul and Tehran to posture about how much they "care" about the downtrodden oppressed poor Palestinians, as part of their pitch of bona fides to the Arab masses about why they should be welcomes as liberators rather than imperial masters.

Same as before, just with different aspiring warlords as their "champions" to the masses.

saudi Arabia is also there in Yemen

The palastineas are abandoned

I'm not surprised. Their entire national identity was built to be weaponized like this. It generates exactly this sort of reaction to peace deals (see Arafat), exactly this sort of searching for someone else to blame for their problems, and exactly this inability to acffect positive change in their own beody politic in order to better address challenges.

I was no more surprised that they supported Hamas than I will be when, if they get what they and people like you say they want, their "state" will quickly devolve into an illiberal terrorist failed state backwater.

Because they lack not only the social, political and economic institutions for success but the core of their national identity is entirely negative -- the core objective and purpose of the Palestinian people as a nationality is the elimination of zionism - the undoing of Jewish sovereignty in Israel. When that is your mission statement and the purpose of your national being, you can't help but generate the outcomes and missed opportunities that the Palestinians have seen.

black september.

Exactly. While the Palestinians were a useful tool at times, the Jordanian monarchy was always worried about them because the Hashemites are really imperialist foreign rulers who failed in Saudi Arabia and Iraq and were given Jordan by the British. And any sort of nationalist-oriented Palestinians in Jordan are a threat to Hashemite control.

And unlike the Israelis who are constantly criticized, we all know the rest of the middle east operates under a different set of rules where massacres and targeting civilians is ordinary course that no one really cares about if it can't be pinned on the jews.

Good.

Ironically, it is only by the Palestinians losing completely and despairing of their goals can there be any hope of peaceful compromise. Because the core goal of Palestinian nationalism is Israel's destruction, not sovereign independence for the Palestinians.

So once they are abandoned and can come to terms with the fact their national goal is lost, they actually could have a chance of building a new path on a new, positive, national identity. Once they do that, a peaceful outcome is actually possible.

no its not good-they have to resort to terrorism

theyre angry

no its not good-they have to resort to terrorism

No, they most certainly do not have to resort to terrorism. They now finally may find the clarity resulting from despair to recognize that they should not be =engaging in terrorism and indeed should not be doing ANYTHING to try to achieve the genocidal objectives that are the core of the Palestinian National Identity.

so Jordan does care

About the Palestinians? They care like they care about cancer. It isn't about helping the cancer, it is about keeping it away or, failing that, keeping it under control so it doesn't kill the host.

The Palestinians could have done so much better if they had not been used and abused by the Arab world. At some point they should figure that out and see align on a positive vision of self-identity and determination.

theyre angry

woopy doo.

They rejected peace deals and independence to start a pre-planned terror war whose core strategy was to sneak past soldiers to murder civilians.

They are angry the same way a toddler is angry for getting a time out or a prisoner is angry that they have been put in jail for murdering someone. In none of the cases are they angry at the right people or understand why they are in the situations they are in.

Yes, except he works as an advisor to the President, we know that is common in Russia but the US looks down on this sort of dealing.

what dealing?

what dealing?

Government Representatives getting rich through their office, it is called a conflict of interest here in the US, in Russia it is just another day of business.

You know exactly “who cares!”

I’m trying to figure out how and why an Arabic country, over 1300 miles distant from Israel, decides to agree to “normalize” relations in the run-up to a US election. Who benefits? Bibi,Trump or the Crown Prince?

Trump sold the UAE F-35’s before the phony ‘peace’ deal. Indicted Bibi and Individual One have MOs of intentionally creating a problem and then ‘temporarily’ solving it.
