As I said, a weakened proposed agreement.
Nothing will happen. NK will continue to provoke the World and US inparticular.

President Bush should realise that if you talk tough, you MUST be prepared to back up your words with tough action.

If this agreement goes through the UN council it will be a savage let down and President Bush might just as well resign.

Well now, that's possible.

But what I read don't sound so bad. It just means that the world body will not make the same mistake as our government did when they voted to give the president the means and support to back his policy with Iraq, up to, and including war. The ink hadn't even dried before the bombs were a' fallin'.

Let's try some serious arse sanctions first. Do what the consensus says. Keep them on our side. If NK refuses, try some harder hits. It is important not to go this one alone. Right or wrong that would pretty much etch in stone the global opinion of us being a war machine that forces our will upon soverign nations half way around the world.

We all know the stakes here. We all know NK has to lose and I believe they will. But lets do it by the numbers this time.

It might take diplomacy.

It might take Johnny Walker Red.

It might take a blow so mighty that Lil' Kims pompadour haircut turns into an afro.

Whatever it taks, NK will lose. I believe that.

If we play it right, at the end of the day, the world might work it out without war. We should give it a chance before ordering the Mission Accomplished sign this time.
