Hizbullah Energy Minister Mohammad Fneish told Lebanon's Al-Balad newspaper Thursday that the deployment of the Lebanese army and UN forces in the south of the country was not a problem for his movement as long as no attempt was made to disarm it.

The Lebanese army has no desire to confront Hezbollah militarily. The armed forces, which are largely made up of Shia and Hezbollah sympathizers, operates under the belief instilled in them through Syria that the army should cooperate with the resistance and that Hezbollah is a friend of the armed forces.

Iran Suspected of Attempts to Rearm Hezbollah Since Cease-Fire
WASHINGTON — Iran has been attempting to rearm the Lebanon-based terror network Hezbollah since the U.N.-backed cease-fire between Hezbollah and Israel took hold earlier this week, two U.S. officials told FOX News on Thursday.
A U.S. arms control official said it appears that Iran is using Syrian channels in its effort to give Hezbollah weapons it has used in the past, including Chinese-built C-802 radar-guided anti-ship missiles. Military observers said a C-802 was used successfully on an Israeli naval vessel off the coast of Tyre on July 14. The arms control officer and a senior American counterterrorism officer both said the U.S. government is "very concerned" about the "ongoing" effort.

Deal: Hezbollah will bear arms, but not in public
Hezbollah will retain its weapons in southern Lebanon but its members will not bear them in public, according to an agreement reached yesterday after days of talks between Hezbollah representatives and the Lebanese government.
Worst of all, after brokering/forcing the half-@$$ed resolution now in affect that is allowing all this to happen, with the promise of 15,000 International troops moving into southern lebanon to enforce resolution 1559 and creata a buffer zone Hezbollah would not be allowed into, France anted up the 1st troops - 200 ENGINEERS......then volunteered to lead the whole operation!
The 1st members of the French team were seen earlier at the airport in Paris with its gear about to board the plane: :surrender

WHY??), continue to support murderous dictators through criminal activities like black marketing and secretly breaking its own resolutions, and demand the world come to the rescue of terrorist organizations who are being attacked by their long-time victims....then work meaningless deals to rebuild and re-arm the terrorists and ensure the age-old conflict continues for years to come!
The U.n. is not helping to straighten out the Middle East Crisis - they are just prolonging it and adding to it!
