U.N.: No Such Thing as Illegal Immigration

The United Nations doesn't recognize the concept of illegal immigration - and refuses to use that term when referring to foreigners who flout U.S. immigration laws by crossing the border without documentation.

So says Eric Shawn, whose new book "The U.N. Exposed," blows the lid off the corrpution, double-dealing and anti-U.S. resentment that permeates the world body.

"In U.N. world there's no such thing as an illegal alien or illegal immigrant," Shawn told Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly Wednesday night. "They call it an irregular migrant."

Legal immigrants, on the other hand, are referred to as "regular migrants," Shawn said.

"Basically they want them to have the same rights as the documented immigrants," the one-time Fox street reporter explained. "They say that in [their] convention."

Basically, the U.N. is pushing for open borders and denies the U.S.has the right to have immigration policies/laws that allows us to secure our borders and/or have a say/control who comes in and out of our own country!

First of... Newsmax!

Secondly this book and writer has a clear anti UN agenda and go figure that Fox, O'Rielly and Newsmax fall all over it. Wonder if they even bothered to check the writer and the books facts. I know O'Rielly does not bother with such things dispite what he claims.

Thirdly, where are the facts he bases his assesment on.. not in the article and I even doubt that they are in the book. I mean using the nationalitly of the head of the UN immigration office as some kind of proof is sad. Also he mentions a "convention".. which convention? Newsmax throws out the world convention.. but which? The UN convention itself or one of the others? Has the US not signed the UN convention all of a sudden or?

Also where does it say that the UN does not recognize the concept of illegal immigration. They call it something else, hence they dont recognize it all of a sudden? Heck it even says the opposite in the reporting..

Asked if official U.N. policy was to encourage open borders, Shawn told O'Reilly: "Basically, as long as it's legal. They're not for illegal immigration, but they try to encourage migration as much as possible."

Hello, the US encourages migration as much as possible.. its called the world market! So now the US suddenly is for illigal immigration too? Is the US against open borders and the free movement of goods and people all of a sudden?

How can we even take this seriously unless there is any balance in the article and that its full of missleading information and spin/bent truth? All I can see is a clear agenda by Newsmax, Fox and the writer to demonize the UN at ever turn and over everything. Its another typical O'Rielly stunt using false and missleading "facts" to promote his own personal agenda.

How about for once show some facts to the accusations against the UN? I mean the right still use Oil for food as some kind of huge scandal when it was nothing after months and millions in dollars used for several investigations. Heck the US has supposedly missmanaged more money in Iraq since the fall of Saddam, than Saddam supposedly gained from Oil for Food!

And finaly, how about looking into the corruption and mismanagement in the US goverment and political life? I remember an old proverb.. people who live in glass houses should not be throwing rocks at others.

Then again, this guy is not to be considered credible either because you don't believe him or don't like him, right?! <siiiigghhh>

Where? Did you read the post?

U.N.: No Such Thing as Illegal Immigration

Where is the proof... its nothing but a baseless accusation.

So says Eric Shawn, whose new book "The U.N. Exposed," blows the lid off the corrpution, double-dealing and anti-U.S. resentment that permeates the world body.

The man has an agenda, hence he can not be called unbiased and let alone fair.
"In U.N. world there's no such thing as an illegal alien or illegal immigrant," Shawn told Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly Wednesday night. "They call it an irregular migrant."

And the french call it something else, so do the danes, germans, and every non english speaking nation on the planet. He does not explain why this differernce is such a mind boggling thing that it means that the UN is pro illegal immirgant.

"Basically they want them to have the same rights as the documented immigrants," the one-time Fox street reporter explained. "They say that in [their] convention."

Again.. what convention. What does he base this accusation on? Why does Newsmax not print a shred of evidence that remotely proves or backs up this idiots accusations?

Then again, this guy is not to be considered credible either because you don't believe him or don't like him, right?! <siiiigghhh>

I dont like him or Newsmax in this instance because they do not remotely even try to back up thier accusations with a link or any facts.
