The overwhelming applause and support Victor Chavez received after his incredulous speech attacking President Bush and the United States last night is a demonstration of how Anti-American the United nations is and another example of how the U.N. has turned from everything for which it was created!

The U.N. stood by and watched the assassination of Lebonese officials and the enslavement of the country by Syria and Iran.

The U.N. sat back and allowed a terrorist group created, funded, supplied, armed, trained, and manned by Iran occupy Lebanon, becoming more powerful than Lebanon's own military, then use the country as a launching pad for terrorist bombings, attacks, and kidnappings against Israel.

The U.N. has a criminal Secretary general who flaunted his bias in front of the world by refusing to acknowlege the fact that Hezbollah is a terrorist group and that Iran had anything to o with Hezbollah and the attacks against Israel! He has covered for friends who have committed swexual harrassment in the U.N. He has aided and abetted dictators by criminally assisting in secretly breaking every sanction against Iraq for 12 years, helping set up, run, and proffiting from a Black Market operation designed to make a substantial profit while keeping Saddam Hussein, the raper/torturer/murderer of his own people, in power! While Hussein committed these attrocities, Kofi and other U.N. members picked the pockets of the Iraqis being raped, tortured, and murdered, through the theft of the Iraqi people's money in the oil-for-food scandal! He lied and protected his son, also in on the deal. he appointed an investigator who was already working and on the payroll of one of the companies being investigated. He even demanded that more of the Iraqi People's money be stolen to pay for his and other U.N.-involved memebrs' lawyers to defend them against the charges!

It was disclosed/un-covered that France was receiving bribes from Hussein to block any vote on military actions against Iraq during those 12 years. President Jacques Chirac made personal millions in the Oil-for-Food scandal! Frnace and Russia both had troops on the ground in Iraq in the early days of the war to help the Republican Guard fight us off. The French had been supplying Hussein with arms right up until we went in, and russia was supplying GPS Jammers specifically designed to defeat our bombs. France has gone as far as supplying the Jajaweed Islamic Extremists who have been committing the genocide in Darfur!

Iran has had troops in Iraq since before the war, waiting for the U.S. to overthrow Hussein and for their chance to enslave Iraq like it has Lebanon. In his speech the other night, the President of Iran claimed the 'occupiers' of Iraq can not sustain security in Iraq, yet he fails to mention his troops and insurgents causing the majority of the attacks, fails to mention the IED factories in Syria and Iran targeting the new Iraqi goverment and US troops, and fails to mention the funding and supplies coming across his borders to keep the instability up until we leave! he failed to mention his role in assisting the 9/11 attackers get into our country, fails to mention Iran's part in enslaving Lebanon, in attacking Israel, about his promise to provide any Muslims with nuclear technology for whatever their need may be, or of his declaration that his goal is for a Muslim ruled world, which begins with wiping Israel from the face of the earth.

The U.N. not only allows this man to speak, but applauds him for attacking the U.S. they stand by and let him continue to spread and escalate attacks on innocents and others throughout the world...and applaud him. his speech for this morning, for example, is being moved to a larger venue so that more reporters can eat up what he says and spread the news about the 'evil' U.S. but not questioning any of Iran's own actions! Meanwhile, the President of Iran and Chavez's plan to distract the U.N. away from the issue of Iran's nuclear program and their refusal to comply is working, as the U.N. applauds their venomous attacks that seek to turn the U.S. into the 'bad guy'!

The U.N. has been turning Anti-American for a long time, betraying its true purpose. even Clinton acknowldeged it by avoiding the U.N. Security Council altogether before going into Bosnia because he knew they would fight him, drag their feet, and end up doing nothing but continue to watch the genocide going on at the time!

In light of the out-pouring of support for such vipers on our own soil, I agree with only 1 thing Hugo Chavez said last night, and that is we should consider moving the United Nations out of the United States!

Millions in parking tickets and other crimes go unpaid, security details, and millions of other expenses are absorbed by the U.S. for these criminals who have forgotten the mission of the U.N. to come here and attack us on our own soil. No more taking advantage of America's food, economy, and all the things these diplomats can not get in their own country and which they are jealous of! I suggest we remind the U.N. of exactly why it was formed by moving the new HQ right into the middle of Darfur! The U.N. should not be located in a plush location isolated from the very people who they have taken an oath to assist! They need to see what is going on up close and personal! Darfur sounds like a great place!

But if you want to know who in the U.N. is our ally, take a look at the footage of Chavez speaking last night again and take note of all those standing up and applauding for him. Of course, it might be easier to count those showing indignation and justified anger over this Castro-wannabe's deplorable behavior before the U.N., such conduct which had not happened since the Russian leader banged the podium bwith his shoe as he verbally assaulted the U.S.

What is almost as bad is back then the U.S. rallied together with extreme anger and unity over such an attack. Today, in other places on this board, there are so-called Americans who are applauding chavez and Iran's leader's comments! They have allowed the rabid hatred for our President and the unparalleled partisanship in this country to grow to a point where they are applauding the attack by terrorists, murderers, and scoundrels upon this nation and our President! :(

Excellent post. Although I think you left one thing out, how all those UN "Peace Keeping" forces in Africa were raping the women.

There is a huge anti-American/anti-Israel sentiment. You even see it in the media. Like with the Israeli/Hezbollah conflict. There is more coverage about how 'badly Lebanon was demolished', but you don't see very much reporting on how much Israel suffered. It's almost like no one cares about Israel's woes.

Israel and the US are being threatened and attacked by radicals and Islamo-Fascists, but when we defend ourselves we are made out to be the bad guys. It's downright hypocritical.

Terrorists - build up arsenal;
US/Israel - Use diplomacy to attempt to appease terrorists;
Terrorists - carry out suicide attacks and various bombings;
US/Israel - defend themselves with whatever is available;
World - Demonizes the US/Israel.

Why aren't the terrorists being demonized??? Are ppl this f---ing stupid??? Are they this frickin' blind?

Let's send the UN to Pyongyang. Perhaps all the starving ppl in the streets will make the appeasers sense reality.

Got this in an email. Thought it was rather interesting.

I agree 100%... the only thing Chavez said that I agreed with was that the UN has long outlived it's usefulness... you have the inmates running the asylum there

It's time to pull the Uhauls to the door empty the joint and kick this useless piece of **** out of the country. They can set up shop someplce in the ME. Hell I think it should be in Iran personally. Or venezualla.. They have all kinds of money. Lets stop banging are heads against the wall that hates us. We don't need the UN, they need us. And if they don't then no harm no foul. we are out and there are no hard feelings

Yes, I think, moving the UN to another place is rather costly.

On the other hand, parts of the UN are in Africa and in Europe, so moving the headquarter to Asia would be a good idea. It's more central regarding the allocation of the wordwide population. Iran would be a good place because of this and because of her workforce.

How about this, fellow Captain: if you don't like the U.S., stop taking our money! Perhaps we should just cut aid to all of these folks, I mean it's obvious that they don't support us.

If you knew someone who refused to 'have your back' 75%-80% of the time, would you give them money?

Fine by me.. Couldn't careless whereit ends up lets just kick itthe fu.ck out. Then we can give them there seat and they can have any half pipe dictator american hating tyrant they want to sit there.... I am all for getting this joke out of my country

I agree that we should not be giving billions in foreign aid to people who do not share the same values as us.

I however, do not expect everyone to share the same values as us, different nations have different needs, due to thier own situations, culturally, economically, etc.

There have been talks about moving jobs to other countries to save money, but I did not hear about negotiations concerning a new headquarter. I am not a big fan of outsourcing, even though I understand, that translation services for instance can be offered in different regions.

And then when it's gone we have no need to visit or sit in it while the worlds tyrants berate us to the amusement of the rest... Cyaaaaaaaaaa

I really don't have a problem with sending aid to countries that have different values from us. It's when a country is openly hostile (verbally or militarily) or strongly disparaging towards us that I think aid needs to be cut or eliminated.

I'm pretty sure, there are governments who would like to have the headquarter and if it was mostly for the jobs. I don't know about the people, well, there are big UN buildings in Austria and Kenya and Switzerland. I guess, the people are rather positive about it in these places or maybe they don't care. Austria and Switzerland are expensive, too. I can't say much about Kenya. When our government moved from Bonn to Berlin, they gave some government buildings to the UN campus, there are eleven UN organizations now there.

If you don't want, we take it :2razz:

Yes, they have 650 employees there at this time, but the facilities opened this year are planned for 1000 employees. At the moment there is some interest in three of four parties in German parliament to get the Germans a permanent seat in the Security Council. Personally, I don't think, this is a good idea and I heavily doubt, they will give us one.

However, I'm very positive about getting UN institutions to move here.

The UN is a total farce.

Why on earth do you keep sending money to those who repeatedly stab you in the heart? For the life of me I can't understand your Department of State. You desperately need a broom there as well.

The UN seriously needs to set some higher standards for itself. Given the sorid human rights records and contempt for democracy of countries like China, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran Russia, etc, they should be banned from being members or at the very least heavily restricted.

You can have our spot on the council..... It comes free when you take the UN....

Both governments, the American and the Chinese don't like this plan. Even if the US leaves the UN, then it would be about convincing the Chinese government.
