Two Black Acqaintances of Smollett Arrested in his Attack

The original thread about the story had 7500 views, and 600 comments. Can't wait for all those liberals and progressives to admit how wrong they were!.............

It would make the racial component, something pushed in the beginning especially when there was an alleged noose used, less than truthful. Anyway whatever the outcome it does not appear the alleged attack happened the way it was first reported

Not necessarily. Smollett may have believed that they were white due to the racial slurs and MAGA comment. It is pretty common for black people to call other black people the "N" word, and it is possible that the 2 Nigerian individuals are Trump supporters or were saying it with the intention to hide their identities since they knew Smollett. From Smollett's point of view his story may be true, but may have been mistaken on the race of the men that attacked him.

One of the stories I read, Smollett denied saying they were wearing MAGA hats. Don't get me wrong, I am leaning more to the idea of this being a hoax, however we don't know all of the facts yet and there are scenarios that it is plausible that this could have been a homophobic hate crime or a hoax.

The attack took place at night in something like -10 degree weather. Yeah, going to be hard to ascertain the race of someone that is completely covered up in the dark.
 

I don't think it's a hoax. I think it was him being attacked, and they used things as a misdirection. He DID go to the hospital because of injuries.
 

That's a lot of grasping at straws to come up with that conclusion. The accent alone would make it very unliklely but I guess anything is technically possible at this time. Personally I find more plausible that Smollett embellished his story a little thinking it wouldn't be investigated like it has been and now its snowballed into something out of control.
 

I think he made "advances" on the two after a night drinking , and got pimp slapped.
 

I'm just thinking about possibilities that fit what we currently know.

I agree that is a likely scenario, it just seems that given their connection the idea that it was a hoax seems a little more likely to me.

True but that didn't stop the original narrative of the attackers being white to quickly take hold. The same people claiming it was white dudes in ski masks will most likely now latch onto the alleged attackers were in ski masks how was he supposed to know their color as the new narrative.
 

Racism sells, if it weren't for the possibility that this was some racist attack then it wouldn't have even made local news. This is why the original narrative was so quickly to take hold as without that part it is simply another night in Chicago.

Well, that is certainly possible. Smollet's own story isn't very compelling; the hospital visit was very late and perfunctory, his injuries insubstantial, and his desire to showboat wear the "loop around" thin rope long after the alleged attack was over are all elements that add to his story being suspect.

On the other hand, the two Nigerian men are buff and love to show off their semi-nudity on the internet; Smollett is an emotional gay man, so yes his advances may have been rejected at 2AM, and he got a little slapped around. One thing is certain, their "hookup" that night was no accident.
 

Americans must be dominated by idiots if they keep swallowing the crap the leftist media keeps feeding them.
 


And the White Guy, Trump Supporters in MAGA hats was a TOTAL LIE = Filing a FALSE POLICE REPORT = a CRIME.
