Twitter suspends Babylon Bee for naming Rachel Levine ‘Man of the Year’

And yet you explicitly characterized your own thread on the subject as an anti-left tirade:
"...this OP, it is not {A}. It's also not {B}. What it is is a reminder of how incredibly intolerant the political left can be. They are not looking to hear your differing views. They're not looking to prove that you are wrong. They're looking to shut you down so that others can't hear you."

It's good that you have learned something new and corrected your position (y)
Sorry, no, Twitter as a corporate entity is decidedly left leaning, not right.

So suddenly you do care whether it's left or right, now that your hypocrisy has been underscored for you? Profiteering businesses and bosses fall towards the right-wing end of the political spectrum pretty much by definition. You're apparently confused by the left/right and liberal/conservative distinctions, since inclusivity towards trans people tends to be a more liberal attitude: But as I've already pointed out, Twitter's decision has nothing to do with the executives' own opinions on that subject, merely their (perhaps mistaken) perception and response towards market trends and signals, and even if it was consistent with their personal values that would simply make them right-liberal or perhaps right-libertarian... not left wing.

No, I'm pointing out your error when you claim Twitter is from the right. Please try to keep up.

The ONE TIME their article ISNT satire.................

Good for The Bee.

And for those who will misunderstand (willfully or not) this OP, it is not an argument against trans politics or policy. It's also not an assertion that Twitter somehow lacks the authority to do this; their house, their rules. What it is is a reminder of how incredibly intolerant the political left can be. They are not looking to hear your differing views. They're not looking to prove that you are wrong. They're looking to shut you down so that others can't hear you.

I agree, mostly.
The whole "transgender" thing has just gotten beyond bizarre.
As you say tho, Twitters platform, Twitters rules, and they want people to be "woke" when it comes to chicks that happen to have penises. I won't ever be "woke", I do use Twitter a little bit since I "Stan" Ariana Grande. But she left Twitter before the turn of the year. I still interact with Ronnie the Limo Driver from Howard Stern, and I usually post once or twice a day, almost always just replies, dont Tweet a lot. I interact with a few people on Twitter.
Ariana did "notice" me once on Twitter and it was literally better than winning the lottery. Man, that is some special chick right there. I'd share my tweet that she noticed, but that would mean revealing my real name and I won't do that here. Lets just say it made me happy AF, and now almost 2 years later that feeling still hasn't faded. Better than money. You cant buy that happy feeling. Its priceless. But I digress.

She is the man of the year IMO..

It takes a ****ing huge set of balls to comfortably try and pass yourself off as female looking like that.

Totally ironic that the twits running such a "serious" site like Twitter can't take a joke.
All while the Chinese company Tik Tok, are posting all these sick challenges that teens are getting hurt doing. Thanks China! Putin puts out a Go Fund Me and China is right there!

Someone needs to hold a fundraising event to buy the louts at Twitter a sense of humor.

Twitter has a shit ton of funny people on it so of course there are what you consider “left-leaning” because conservatives do not have a sense of humor and are too busy crying about being a victim.

This is just another example of how the libtard progressive loons consistently paint themselves into rational corner.

Of course they needed to ban The Bee, because now no matter what the context may be, they MUST follow through even if there would be no reaction from just remaining on the sidelines from 99.5% of all people; even people who are left of center. This comes from the same failed logic where the left is incapable of voicing a loud NO about biological males who are now transgender "females" taking advantage of WOMEN by unfair advantage in sports. They are painted into a corner, and MUST continue with the most radical course, even when they know it is illogical. A fear of being called out them the 5% of online twitter trolls who would call them out.

The Left jumps to defend Levine, but the satirical commentary was on them.

You understand that this is capitalism in action, don't you? Twitter's executives probably don't give a flying fig about Levine or trans rights - not in comparison to their concern over the bottom line - and they certainly don't favour actual left-wing politics! They think it might play well to their market, so that's what they do regardless of any 'morals' or 'principles' that they might otherwise have considered.

Twitter users are disproportionately young, and therefore somewhat more likely to be concerned about inclusivity towards trans people... just connect the dots man. It's all about the bottom line.
Bottom line is Twitter is run by wannabe Marxist.

This is censorship of what they consider incorrect opinions essentially as thought control you're not allowed to think that and post about it on Twitter.

Darn right, porn should be on cable tv in the middle of the day east to access
It's available on a cell phone at any time of day. Or a computer for a smart TV connected to a Wi-Fi signal.

Why is cable TV somehow this magical bastion of holiness?

Because that is where it is censored and broadcast tv

I'm pretty sure The Babylon Bee, a regular Twitter user with a following of 1.3 million just answered that question.

No, not if if means deleting their post because some twit of a twit got their silk panties in a wad over a piece of satire they didn't particularly find to their liking.
The owner/operator of The Babylon Bee should stand his ground, and not remove the post that clearly violated Twitter’s user agreement. Never again being able to post would teach Twitter a lesson! 👍

Twitter isn't the political left.

I'm assuming that doing this violated some TOS.

It would be seen as hate speech on Twitter, to call a "transgender woman" a "man".
They are pretty particular about their pronouns over there. Its cool.🤷‍♂️
