Anyone else hear a “familiar” voice on TV ads with narration and try to guess who the voice belongs to?

I thought this was John Houseman of “The PaperChase.”

The internet identifies this as E. E. Cummings. I had to look him up. A poet of some renown. I just listened again and I still see Houseman. Maybe Houseman speaking Cummings’ words?

Brief search reveals both are long since deceased.

It sounds a bit like Houseman, but I think he'd put a little more oomph into it.

Rexedgar:

When I listened to the ad you posted (without looking at your follow-on text first) I thought it was a slightly higher and nasal version of John Houseman too. Perhaps a synthetic computer generated voice based on Houseman's speech patterns but not his actual voice to avoid legal entanglements? Interesting.

Here is E. E. Cummings' voice:

ee cummings reads "Somewhere I have never travelled..." - YouTube

Cheers.
