It is the largest demonstration of its kind since the latest political crisis began two weeks ago when a prominent opposition politician was assassinated. Earlier, the constituent assembly was suspended until the government and opposition open negotiations. The assembly is drawing up a new constitution.

Is the Tunisian revolution not yet over yet!? I sure hope not. This government has clearly not done anything when it deals with political violence to the opposition. Something needs to be done and it seems the Tunisian people are yet again, taking it into their own hands.

I wonder if "thousands" of tea partiers marched on DC would obama quit and we could install a real leader?

If thousands of any party protested in DC with the intent of overthrowing the government the reaction by Federal forces would be a lot more violent than in Tunisia or Egypt!

There would be no violence from US. All the protesters would die in "car accidents". ;)

Why? Why would the federal government need to be violent against peaceful protestors demanding accountability from our government and a change of leadership? This kind/dictator thinks he can spend whatever he wants, do whatever he wants, and its time for him to move on.
