Tsunami warnings from Vancouver to Hawaii and as far away as Australia after an 8.7 magnitude in Eastern Russia.

Vancouver Island is under tsunami evacuation orders.

God Bless the USA.
Keep us safe from harm's way.

I used to live right on the west coast, actually for about ten years. I was never worried about tsunamis until I saw the movie about the Thailand tsunami. Those poor people.

I am so happy my oldest granddaughter moved back home to San Diego from the main island of Hawaii about a month ago.

This is a good map. North America has tsunami watch, Hawaii has a tsunami warning.

Trump is going all in on trying to distract from the Epstein Files. New military tech?

This is the 8th strongest earthquake ever recorded.

I just texted my youngest son. He's on the boardwalk in PB. He just texted me back and said the lifeguards are telling everyone to leave now.
He, like many had no idea. I also told him to get my grandson and his gf who lives in PB the hell out of there. Head east now.

Tsunami waves have already struck the coast of Russia. According to reports many buildings are being washed away.

Rats! I’m within the tsunami zone for Venice Beach, but close to its eastern edge. So far, only a watch advisory.

We’ll see if what they have been saying about our being at low risk because of the direction the beach faces is really true . Common wisdom is that Long Beach (southern LA County) has a greater risk.

Nine good size aftershocks. As they're offshore these could cause more tsunamis.
