Trump's Putsch

Love to see your math on that. Daddy handed him $400 mil and in 35 years he's turned it into a whopping $500-600 mil. As Warren Buffet put it, a monkey with the Wall Street Journal would have done better
It's simple extrapolation, how many businesses he owns and are running, compared to how many failed.
So you're taking Buffett's word on this one are you. A man who's as under investigation for many of the same serious issues that people tried to pin on Trump, and then some.

I guess this is just another one of those examples where you simply agree with him, primarily because of an irrational and emotional response.
Given what the man is under investigation for and what he's been under investigation for. It's a wonder that you don't follow Trump as much with how you're compelled to agree with Buffett...

Then again, that partisanship for you.

LOL

And which investigation might that be?

Buffet considered one of the smartest and ethical investors on the planet

Donnie is just a failed businessman

Those aren't debatable facts

The Nazi reference in this thread refers to the infamous Nazi propaganda minister who is attributed as saying "If you repeat a lie enough, it will be accepted as truth."

Trump supporters prove this axiom to be true. In fact, despite documented proof that Trump has been caught in literally thousands of lies since he first ran for president, Trump supporters take every word Trump utters as gospel truth, even when they find themselves having to make a complete 180 regarding what he said before. As far as they are concerned, what Trump said yesterday is irrelevant. All that matters is what he says today.
You're inflating the most zealous portion of Trump's supporters, to someone represent his entire base. Which is a factual lie.

Sorry, but the sheep follow the shepherds.

You're inflating the most zealous portion of Trump's supporters, to someone represent his entire base. Which is a factual lie.
I challenge you to point out any self-identifying Trump supporter who acknowledges a lie by Trump. It's always "He was taken out of context" or "He was joking" or "He owned the Dems" or "He never said it" or etc., etc., etc. No one ever says "Yeah, he lies to me every day and it doesn't matter."

Part 1
The Military: During the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests, Trump drew Joint Chiefs Chair General Mark Milley and Defense Secretary Mark Esper out of a White House meeting to follow him for a provocative photo-op in front of a historic church. Paramilitary forces under the president’s command cleared a passage for his group across Lafayette Square. Trump was testing the military and the Pentagon to see if he could turn the U.S. armed forces into his own “Pretorian Guard.” The blowback from this episode emphasized the nonpolitical position of the U.S. military, but there was sufficient lingering concern that just days before January 6, 10 former Defense secretaries—including Esper, who had been forced out of his office for insufficient loyalty—felt compelled to issue an unprecedented public letter reminding Defense Department officials of their oath to uphold the Constitution.
Already starting with an overt lie:
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/do...lear-d-c-s-lafayette-park-protestors-n1270126

Communications: In the old days, coup plotters would seize the Central Telegraph or Post Office, and later, radio and TV towers. Trump put a loyalist in charge of the Post Office. He did not take TV and radio by storm, but he discredited the “mainstream media” that was critical of his actions as the “enemy of the people” and recruited or pressured Fox News, Newsmax, OAN and social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook into participants in his efforts to sway public opinion in his favor. Twitter, in essence, was Trump’s equivalent of the TV and radio tower. He directly messaged the 88 million people who “followed” his account. He used social media and cable news to propagate false self-serving narratives, reinforce messages to provide justification for his actions, and mobilize his supporters.
Something that all politicians. Yet this is a far cry from proof that Trump was doing anything malicious and still lacking it's own proof. Seeing as both Facebook & Twitter were more or less against Trump's base and would routinely block/ban accounts that challenged their ideology.
Him placing people in different jobs is still not proof either, seeing as other politicians do exactly the same.

So far, this is still limited to being just your opinion and wild misconceptions.

Part 2
The judiciary: With the help of Republican lawmakers, Trump stacked federal courts with what he kept calling “his judges.” He successfully pushed through the appointments of three new Supreme Court justices ahead of the presidential election. He made his expectation clear that if the Supreme Court had to settle an election dispute, then “his justices” would tilt the verdict in his favor. Erdogan did the same in Turkey, purging the judiciary and installing loyalists who facilitated his rerun of the 2015 election and sentenced political opponents to long prison terms. Trump frequently called for investigations into his opponents and for courts and law enforcement to “lock them all up!”
Once again, this is still only your assumption. Because we can easily look back and see that the nothing like this even came close to happening, and you've only inflated it with something that a president still has legal power to do.
Government institutions: As in Turkey, Trump purged Cabinet members and career officials who resisted him. He bypassed Congress and installed acting officials in crucial national security positions like the secretaries of Defense and Homeland Security, and, briefly, the director of National Intelligence. He made it crystal clear that personal loyalty was the primary factor for candidate selection. He removed Esper after he lost the election. Attorney General William Barr resigned in the same period amid rumors he would be sacked for failing to declare massive election fraud. Trump wanted officials in place in January 2021 who were entirely beholden to him and likely to support his efforts to stay in power.
Once again, you're either basing this on something either didn't happen, as still within legal power for the president, or was seen to be only wild rumors and allegation.

So once again, it's just your assumption.
The legislature: Finally, Trump usurped the Republican Party. He claimed the more than 74 million who voted for him last November as his personal base—his popular support. He threatened to destroy the careers of Republican members of Congress who did not favor overturning the election result. At the January 6 rally preceding the storming of the Capitol, Donald Trump Jr. even referred to the GOP as the “Trump Republican Party.” In the end, even after the Capitol was seized by Trump’s violent mob, 147 Republican members of Congress, led by Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, did endorse some of Trump’s efforts to challenge the election results and overturn the constitutional order. So did Senators Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz and six other politically ambitious senators who wanted to tap into Trump’s popular support. In this way, Trump’s control of the legislature and a significant popular mandate was almost within his reach."
And right here you've been caught lying again. Seeing as it wasn't Trump's mob and we now have access to documentation that shows he did not incite them, nor did they have some weird plan to seize the capital.
His efforts to challenge the election were still kept within the legal theater of his power.

So is opinion, allegation and invention all that you have?

LOL

And which investigation might that be?

Buffet considered one of the smartest and ethical investors on the planet

Donnie is just a failed businessman

Those aren't debatable facts
No, given what's been leveled at the man. It's some pretty serious stuff.

You just agree with him because he said something about someone you don't like, and you can't help but react in an emotionally biased and socially predictable manner.

And those aren't debatable facts either.

Dismissed.

So you're simply upset that these descriptions are a fact and that this sort of thing usually happens.
We know Trump lied more than a few times across his presidency. That is not a secret, or some closely guarded topic by his base.

The main issues being that he was either routinely taken out of context, was either joking, or he never actually said what was being claimed.

Here, let me give you an example:
https://www.mediaite.com/trump/trum...hich-he-previously-called-fake-news-was-real/

This article was posted early on DP. If you read through the article, you'll find that he never said anything to that affect and that the article is mostly a puffed up opinion piece.

This kind of crap is what kept hurting both his and the far-lefts reputations all thought the last four years.
Because people would believe the lie and not try to do their own investigation, and the left would continually lose reputation over posting arduous stories like this one.

Again, I challenge you to point out any self-identifying Trump supporter who acknowledges a lie by Trump. I dare you.

So is opinion, allegation and invention all that you have?

You guys think it’s still opinion that Trump was lying about Obama’s birth certificate for 6 years straight. You were still waiting find out what his “top people” were finding on it. Even after he came out and admitted he had been lying about it the whole time. And you still think he’s a truthful guy. That’s called being gullible.

But it’s very selective gullibility. Because when it comes to things that really matter, you suddenly become these highly selective and sophisticated skeptics.

For example, you guys still think the unanimous consensus of every single scientific organization on the entire planet on climate change is just a big conspiracy- by China, or all the scientists, or who knows who- and is just opinion, allegation, and invention.

You guys think that all of the doctors, scientists, and public health specialist recommendation on the pandemic is just opinion, allegation, and invention.

Do you guys think, even after the Arizona audit showed nothing, that there is “substantial evidence” that the 2020 election was stolen. 78% of Republicans still think verse, despite there being nothing.

Heck, there are more Republicans who believe in QAnon and that an elite group of liberals is running a pedophilia ring than there are who believe in basic evolutionary biology. It’s hilarious.

With that level of gaslighting and confusion on your part, there is clearly nothing that you don’t like that you will not dismiss as opinion, allegation, and invention.

From my previous post:
We know Trump lied more than a few times across his presidency. That is not a secret, or some closely guarded topic by his base.

If you want to repeat questions and not acknowledge anything that's been supplied, then that's on you.
I even directly made it a point to express that he did lie.

Are you really going to try and play this game here?

I haven't said anything about Obama's birth certificate. So you're desperation in injecting this is noted.

Pot & Kettle ataraxia. We aren't children anymore, so please stop.

I've never said that, and I highly doubt you'll find a post here that shows I have. So now you're doing nothing but lying about me, simply because you have no other angle of approach.
Either way climate change was not a part of this discussion.
You guys think that all of the doctors, scientists, and public health specialist recommendation on the pandemic is just opinion, allegation, and invention.
I've made no such statement. And you're attempts to smear mere over things that I've never stated, only exposes your weakness in this discussion.
Do you guys think, even after the Arizona audit showed nothing, that there is “substantial evidence” that the 2020 election was stolen. 78% of Republicans still think verse, despite there being nothing.
I don't care about the Arizona audit, nor have I stated anything about it.
Heck, there are more Republicans who believe in QAnon and that an elite group of liberals is running a pedophilia ring than there are who believe in basic evolutionary biology. It’s hilarious.
Once again, citation needed. Not going to hold my breath though.
With that level of gaslighting and confusion on your part, there is clearly nothing that you don’t like that you will not dismiss as opinion, allegation, and invention.
Once again ataraxi, this is nothing but pot & kettle at this point.

If you can't legitimately debate someone, then what good are you at this point?

No, given what's been leveled at the man. It's some pretty serious stuff.

Got anything to back up this imaginary investigation?

And I agree with him, because once again he's one of the best investors on the planet. He can prove it over 100 billion times

Bankruptcy donnie has to grift rubes and far righties to stay afloat

Now get back to lying and telling stories

It's amazing to see the level of dumb reached by the Cult's defense of Donnie.

There is always one thing of which we can be sure. Nazis are gonna Nazi.

...and, these boys sure do know how to Nazi.

More on the Nazification of the GOP and the attempt to steal the US is well laid out in the article below.

Haha - CNN? Seriously??

When did Trump lie? Give me a specific example of when you say Trump lied. I don't think you will.
I see, you just can't read the news...
I don't want to treat you like a child Wheel, but you're intending to act that way aren't you?

The man claimed that the California recount was rigged. Something that we have not that much evidence for, aside form people found with maybe several hundred envelops in their possession. And a story about recounts having holes in the envelope that allowed you to see how someone was voting. As far as I know that's it.

So are you done acting this way? Because it's rather pathetic.
