President on Stone: ‘Nice to know some people still have guts!’
Tweet seemed to breach US code but case may be hard to prove

Donald Trump heaped public praise on a potential witness in the Russia investigation on Monday in a manner that legal experts said could amount to criminal witness tampering.

The Mueller investigation is closing in on Trump

Trump tweeted in praise of Roger Stone, his longtime political adviser, who allegedly made contacts with the WikiLeaks organization through an intermediary in an effort to help the 2016 Trump campaign. Stone has denied all wrongdoing but has said he expects to be indicted.

Just because you say it in a public forum like Twitter does not make it any less criminal than saying it behind closed doors.

I would be very surprised if this investigation did not turn up at least some dirt on Trump or his kids. There is just too much smoke there for there to be no fire.

Rachel Maddow on her show on MSNBC early last week spun this web into a convincing case that Trump is beyond guilty of numerous crimes like obstruction of justice, conspiracy to defraud the United States, witness tampering...and on & on. And you can tell that this is preying on Trump & he is starting to lose it. Expect more indictments before the holidays.

Rachel Maddow said there was no possibility whatsoever that Trump would win the presidency - though I'm certain she had the OPer convinced of it.

Well...sometimes people mistake "fog" for smoke.

IMO that's what most of this farce of a witch-hunt has been producing since the SJW Progressive-Left lost the 2016 election...a lot of fog composed of conspiracy theory, confirmation bias, wishes, dreams, pettiness, resistance, all boiling in a pot of creamed hatred. Boiling pots often result in steamy fog.

IMO Trump may have a lot of skeleton's in his closet, having lived a long, involved, eventful life; but none related to a rigged election.

That's why so many people keep crowing about these ancillary issues with Manafort and Cohen, as if they prove the election was actually stolen. (Cue the: "You're wrong! Just look at all the indictments!!" responses. )

I expect Mueller will come out with a number of typical Prosecutorial allegations, after all that's what Prosecutors are supposed to do...try to get the "bad guy."

The whole point is to make it hard for the President to do what those of us who voted for him wanted. Make America FIRST again.

You mean a convincing case to the Pavlovian salivators?
