Trump's new poll. He has 847% approval! MAGA Winning!

The University of Massachusetts/Amhurst poll is released. I'd say it is bad news for Trump, but he will denounce it as totally fake, very bad people run that, everyone says so. I wouldn't doubt that Trump will both cut funds to those schools, and demand the DOJ investigate them right away for delivering bad news.

The survey finds Trump’s net approval drops to -20 six months into his term, while his approval rating on immigration falls 9 points since April; additionally, 70% say he has not handled Epstein situation well and 81% blame him for hiding info on case.

Just a few highlights. Trump's approval disapproval is now at 38-55. Just over a Third of the people approve of the job Trump is doing. On individual issues, it's just as bad, if not worse. Trump's actions on Jobs is at 37% approval. Tariff's is at 31%. Heck, people actually have more faith in the Natural Disasters than Trump as 31% approval is found on that issue.

Epstein? Oh Baby. 81% of the people believe Trump is responsible for withholding the information. Add in the certainty that if Trump's name isn't all over whatever is released, that those same people will think that Trump forged the files to protect himself. Republicans in the House are not helping themselves there either. Loudly and Proudly announcing Subpoena's for Clinton and Democrats while ignoring Trump completely. So the thing to focus on in identifying Pedophiles is a guy who was President more than a Quarter Century ago instead of one who is NOW.

As people said when Trump was elected with Republicans in control of Congress. The Democrats don't need to do anything to screw Trump up. Trump will do it all by himself and send out celebratory Tweets about how bad he is screwing the people over.
 
Wasn't he just over 50% approval right after the election? Now he's down in the 30s. That's a lot of people who apparently voted for him only to have buyer's remorse after only 8 months.

They really thought he cared about things other than himself. They really thought he would be good for America. They really thought he was honest and trustworthy. They really thought he would show ethics and integrity on the matter of sexual misconduct.

Maybe next time they'll pay the **** attention to who the **** they're voting for.

You got me. The poll isn’t all good news. Trump lost 153% of his approval. But to shore that up they’re talking to the Baseball Hall of Fame to get Trump admitted with a batting average of .999 and an on base average of 245%.
 
Here’s the latest Trump overall job approval/disapproval polls from RCP. RCP averages out all the most recent polls. What averaging does is reduce the effect of outliers and bias polls. As you can see, there’s quite a range from a plus 2 on Trump’s approval to a minus 16.

On subjects like this I go by RCP averages and not any single poll. A single poll can be way off or accurate. But averaging tends to be a more accurate way of doing things. But to each their own.
 

I know RCP. I have them bookmarked. Looking at the averages is not bad. It lets you see the trends. And Trump’s trend is heading deeper into the negative territory.



That paints a picture that is hard to ignore. What is useful in individual polls is specific questions and results.

The last few polls show Trump losing on Immigration. They show him losing on the economy. And now with Epstein in the news, an issue he so badly bungled that he will never get out from under, he’s almost doomed to remain unpopular stretching into deeply unpopular.

According to the last couple polls Trump is now underwater on every issue including is it a nice day outside?

Another factor to consider is Trumps reactions to these trends. He will deny and denigrate until it is too late to change course. When (or if) Trump finally admits how bad he is looking it will be predictable. He will fire some people saying they gave him bad advice. He will blame leftists and deep state and whatever else he can think of. He will make ridiculous claims on his achievements. And it won’t help.
 
Best part to me, they are still hanging on to his every lie and denying what every other person in america is seeing. Apparently none of the thing affecting me and you touches any republican, no matter how poor. I pity them the day they decide to stop kidding themselves and face reality because they are broke.

Poll averages have his approval closer to 40%.

But it doesn't matter. Dictators don't care about negative opinion polls.

They won't.

If they were paying attention, they wouldn't have voted for him in the first place. They certainly wouldn't have voted for him after his disastrous response to COVID.
 

I'd take issue with Trump caring about negative polls and such. I mean, he can't stop sending out messages on Truth and Twitter about how the Polls are fake. And let's not forget the South Park episode.

Josh Johnson the comedian pointed out. Trump's White House sent out a message about South Park about how they haven't been relevant for years. As Josh said. There are School Shootings where the White House doesn't make a statement. So obviously this got to him.

Trump cares. He moves to get anyone who posts such numbers fired. Thou shall not give bad news to Trump, or about Trump.
 
Trump is more popular than Jesus, The Beatles and sex combined.

What a guy!
