I have always believed that collusion between Treasury, Federal Reserve and Goldman Sachs ruled forex, metals and stocks and bonds. This group would be the instrument that siphoned all recent economic gains to the 1/10th of one percent. Doesn't sound good, but the link wouldn't open so I really don't know about the particular individual.

Trump made it clear he was going to reach out to the business world. How many times did he mention Carl Icahn's name? Why would anyone find this surprising?

And in any case, I haven't looked, but I expect most Treasury Secretaries have spent at least a little time on Wall Street.
