And what will your so-called "truth" do as Trump moves into the White House? Those 'thick skulls' are determined to drain the swamp, rid corporations and schools of DEI practices, and close the southern border. Those political goals can redress many of Biden's policies which the American people voted against.

I think Trump should be put in a cell at ADX Florence until the day he dies.
 
Trump and his administration will:

Give tax cuts to the wealthy
Deregulate and lower standards put in place to protect Americans
Privatize services that Americans currently receive from the government allowing more corporate profits
Increase costs for average Americans.


That’s what you voted for. That’s what you will get.



Enjoy paying relatively the same amount of federal taxes and receiving less for what you pay. And an increased cost for groceries and consumer goods. Oh…and potentially paying more in state and local taxes to make up for where federal funding has been cut.

Nothing doom and gloom about it. It is literally what he’s done and what he’s promising to do and what you voted for

The federal govt will be gutted. And sent back to states.

So…you’ll pay Uncle Sam. Receive less from Uncle Sam AND your state expenditures will increase.

There will be throaty cheers to throw the convicted felons out, even the ones serving long sentences in prison. (Wonder how many come back in???) Poor people sneak in across the border, the cartel sends theirs's in through the transit points under cover and under a hefty bribe.
Some applause for the newly arrived without critical jobs, maybe a few claps for those working for small business concerns that can't raise a protest DonOld would hear.
But the approval will tank as buildings take forever to build and costs mount. Produce rots in the field and consumers pay more for produce shipped in from Mexico of all places. Corporations will speak out and Demented Donny will hear them as the cost of cleaning chickens in ice cold water leaps up. (and some thought the post covid inflation was bad- just wait)
I doubt it gets past the workers in critical jobs stage so I don't think tents will be needed.
Yeah, I see the effort petering out just a little past the newly arrived, so I doubt there is a need for tents unless Mexico refuses the convicts...

There's a new game in DC. Drain the swamp. Cut government waste. Get rid of DEI in schools and the military. Promote school choice.

For the record: The 2020 election was not stolen from Trump.
Never voted for Trump in 2016, 2020, and 2024.

I want to see the federal government gutted by Musk and Vivek.
There's a lot of waste that needs to be eliminated.
 

Republican do not like the federal government preventing them from creating state-based theocracies. When they get held accountable they claim they are being victimized.

The red states have to be held accountable for their illegal behaviors.

Yeah, they are, but every red state out there is trying to force their religious beliefs on the population.

Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana are trying to force bibles into the public school system. This is an OBVIOUS 1st Amendment violation. If the federal government wasn't stepping on their necks, all schools would be religious-based, and nobody but men would have any rights.

The only difference between these states and the middle east is that the middle east has morality police.

The federal government has not done enough to make these red state ratbags pay for attempting to force their brand of Christianity on the public.

I do not think either of them, nor this administration, will actually be operating in the best interests of the American people in their endeavors.

I agree there is a lot of room for operational efficiency and streamlining and a lot of wasteful spending and redundancy in the federal government. I disagree with the “who” and what their objectives likely are.

Unlike you, I am hopeful of their endeavors.

Plus they'd have to have the money to buy the ladder, and maybe they don't. Plenty of immigrants crossing the Mexico/USA border aren't even from Mexico.
