To give you an idea what this means, as far as how much has been lost in the market now because of the possible invasion, here is a headline from the drop in 2020:

In this case, the DOW has dropped 1680 points, since Putin started to amass troops on the Ukraine border, meaning that over $1 Trillion in value has been lost, just because of that.

All of this because of Putin threatening to invade. Now that he has invaded, the drop is likely to continue.

Trump is lauding this move as Putin being a genius! For whom is this a genius move, for us? for you? for Americans? Does this make you feel happy?

Putin always has had a game plan and the game plan changes according to the circumstances. Not everything in his game plan needs to be done "now".
