Trump's Dangerous Threats Against the Media

Since people have threatened to bomb media personalities, and shoot up CNN HQ, plus mass shootings have happened at various local newspapers over the years Trump has been President. He has NOT let up on his dangerous media hating tweets. Today in the midst of a hurricane Trump sent his most despicable anti-media tirade yet to millions.


Make no mistake, Donald Trump is telling his supporters to go after the media, and it just so happens that some of his supporters will take this as an order. Yes, we have evidence from various court cases where people thought Trump was sending them secret messages on twitter. People will get killed because of this rhetoric, there have been warnings before but this is scary. If you thought the mass shootings were random before, that is because they didn't have an order like this.

If there's a silver lining to all this, just remember Donald Trump claimed to have sources looking into Obama's "fake" Birth Certificate...

The Founding Fathers foresaw people like Trump and for that very reason put in the First Amendment.

He's clearly not a fan of the Constitution at all.

Uh, no, thats not why they put in the First Amendment and there is nothing in what Trump wrote that runs against the Constitution in the slightest. In fact, everything he said is true.

There is only so much Trump hating nonsense I can wade through on a given day. The fact is, nothing he said is an incitement to violence no matter what the voices in your head are telling you.
 



Trump's right-wing hate language is escalating and will continue to rise as is his MO, his pathology. Right-wing hate groups are on the rise. Right-wing violence is also on the rise. Kick-out the brownies and the Muslims, discriminate against black people. Welcome to Trump World.

There's no silver lining. There's only "after the storm" debris clean-up, rebuild and repair.

IDK what you are talking about there are countless threads on here about your pre-conceived notions about attacks on Trump supporters by the left. I've participated in many of those threads, yet, it's always the Trump supporters who don't seem to want to admit that there are crazies among them and that they state in court that they think they are getting secret messages from Trump. No liberal has yet admitted they were getting secret messages from Democratic leaders to kill trump supporters in court...

The problem is the internet has made the traditional newspapers obsolete. While cable TV has increased competition in the TV news industry. The result is, to make money with so much competition, everyone needs a gimmick beyond truth and facts. Gossip and Fake news appears to be one recipe to draw maximum audience share. If you have headline like Obama caught stealing, even if it was false, it will attract wishful thinkers.

Gossip and biased opinion may be good for clicks and likes, but it does a disservice to the people. It is like feeding everyone junk food for the brain with people become emotional, linear and intellectually lazy.

As an example, the collusion delusion fake news scam gave CNN its best audience ratings. CNN was in the tank before they made Trump center stage for fake news and gossip. It was good for business. CNN lost audience share when the collusion scam fell flat. Each outlet is trying to out fake news each other, hoping to ignite another delusional fire. The NYT is trying out the new angle that Trump wants to rewrite the civil war and change the result. That is boring fake news and is not catching on except with a certain type of audience.

The Government needs to form a watch dog group that monitors junk food for the mind. Freedom of the press and speech should be maintained but everything written, spoken and televised as news should be rated as healthy or as junk food.

One way to do this, fairly, is let one year past and then look at old tapes and transcripts of each mainstream news outlet. This will allow us too see what was fake. Fake news is not easy to see in real time, especially if it tells you what you want to hear. But after a year we can all be more objective.

For example, wasn't Trump going to jail before the Mueller report was finished a year ago? It was easy to fool people in real time, but after a year the best fake news can be seen as fake. If you get a certain level of fake news, you get a fake news red flag award that you have to display during the next week's telecast. And if you score high n facts and truth you get a trophy called news award. This way audiences can still choose, but with open eyes.

As that is not the focus of the thread, no they don't matter to this discussion, of course other crazies who don't have twitter could still hear about the tweet from fox noise. That is if they are still supporting the President, as that's unclear atm...

I read it, but it is so preposterous that only a fool could actually believe it. But have it your way, you want me address it, I will address it. You used as examples "court cases where people thought Trump was sending them secret messages on twitter." Thats not Trumps fault, nor is it evidence that he is inciting people to violence. It is evidence that there are insane people who have voices in their head. The truth is, you are worse than Trump. You are attacking his free speech by demanding that he be silent lest someone hear a secret message that he didnt send. Thats :cuckoo:
